After weeks of trying to download Flash player to Safari, I removed the program using AppZapper and downloaded a new Safari which behaved beautifully. What puzzles me is that when I opened this new Safari, it contained all my favorites and Bookmark bar bookmarks. Is there a ghost in the system or did AppZapper miss something?

How can I copy or download a flash player video on the internet??
View 3 Replies View RelatedRecently bought a G4, running OS 10.2.8 as a 2nd puter. Firstly, when I access my hotmail account I can log-in and see the e-mails but can't open them. I also get no response to delete and other options. I suspect this is because I'm running a very old version of safari. Secondly, I want to download Flash player. When I go to the download site I can't see or activate the 'download' button.

For some reason that I cant explain I am unable to watch any youTube videos on my iMac. I have "click to Flash" installed and can watch flash content on all other sites. When I login to my account at youTube I also need to click to flash but then I get instead of the video, a "go Upgrade". I took this to mean that the flash player needed upgrading so I agreed to download the latest Flash Player and installed it. This has made no difference. I even went so far as to create a new YouTube account with a different e-mail address but nothing helps. Can anyone please give me some advice what I can do or try to get to watch the YouTube videos?
This problem is only when I use Safari. Using Firefox I can watch youTube.
I just got a Mac Pro laptop and I can't watch any video unless I download a flash player, I want to know which flash player is safe to download.

I have OS X 10.5.8 and can't install FP. There must ba an alternative out there.
Info:iMac, Mac OS X (10.5.8)
I have installed the latest OS update and Safari update, as of 13th May 2012. Flash player will not install.I select the yellow download control from the Adobe site, a grey screen is displayed and nothing happens. There is no record of the application downloading. Under System Prefeences there is not Flash Player icon.
Info:iMac, Mac OS X (10.7.4)
I uninstalled FP a few weeks ago because it was crashing Safari 5.0.6 on a regular basis. This morning, I ran the flashback security update sent out by apple a couple of days ago. I decided to see if that update might reduce the flash crashes with Safari + Flash Player, so I have been trying for hours to install FP 10.3. I go to the correct Adobe page and follow the instructions. Nothing happens. The tiny spinning wheel in the internet address line does not stop spinning, even after 30 minutes. I have thoroughly reviewed the adobe pages dealing with installation problems to no avail. Â
