I was wondering whether there is a widget for Google Translate? I've tried to Google for it but didn't came with anything useful.
In-build translator is kinda lame, doesn't translate a lot of words.
so im a big cycling fan and i like to download and watch all the races that are held in Europe. however not all of them have english speaking announcers, so im wondering if there is a program that can translate in subtitles or something.

I have just successfully tethered my Nokia 5800 to my MBP and its working great... just one question, is there some way to monitor (maybe like a widget?) how much data i have upped and downloaded?
The reason i ask is because i have a package that allows me 1gig of traffic a month, after which there are some stupid rates *per day* of usage and the speed will be throttled as well.
All the download links direct me to a off brand web page and the one on apple does not work.
My mac crashed a few weeks ago and I am still searching to get all my apps and widgets back but i still don't have the interfacelift widget.

My day in history widget has become invisible when I open up the dashboard.. Invisible but not gone because when I click in the icon in the list at the bottom of the page it sort of semi appears on the page but disappears with an effect like ripples in a pond (,which is in it's self a fantastic effect) The cross is still there in the top right corner though.
Any ideas as to what I have cocked up now
Can no longer start to type an address into the Search Maps field and have Google complete it if Ive entered it before, and if Search brings me to a location and I want directions when I enter the start address if I have entered it before Google again does not complete it.
Also, if I click on the down pointing arrow located between the Search text block and the Search Maps button I no longer am presented with a list of Saved addresses.
I just bought a Mac Mini to replace my out-of-date eMac. However, my MacLink Plus doesn't work on Lion and I have an AW6 doc Pages refuses to translate (it's a spreadsheet).

View 5 Replies View RelatedI am getting more and more used to Chrome, and am liking it tons. I would switch in a second but the one thing it doesn't have that Safari does, is smooth scrolling.
I downloaded smooth scroll plugin, and it makes it great with my mouse, feels like Safari, but the touchpad is 100000000 billion times more sensitive. Touching both my fingers down and just flinching makes me rocket to one end of the page.
How do I translate a webpage from Norwegian to English? it used to do it auto but seems to have stopped

I would like to use the Mavericks Dictation & Speech to translate an existing interview I conducted.
I have both a .wav and .aif format.
I can't figure out if it's possible to launch the Notes app or Word, start playing my audio file through whatever app I have and have it transcribe.

I have installed the beta of Google Chrome but is unable to select "Create application shortcut" (not so sure if its the correct words, because my installation is in Swedish)
The option is there to select but is greyed out (disabled).
Anyone knows anything about this?

View 3 Replies View RelatedI have a MBP, bought in '06, that is dying a slow death (crashing constantly). I'm not up on what the latest spec's mean in terms of USER EXPERIENCE. Apple doesn't seem to know how to market to me--no product comparisons (in direct user experience vs. tech spec's), no analogies, no examples of how new MBPs and Airs differ or what their targeted user profile really is.

With Leopard and Snow Leopard I could sync my Address Book with Google Contacts (in google apps). Now with Lion I can't find a way to sync those contacts. I have an iCloud acount for my personal contacst but our company uses Google Apps for sharing the contacts

Previously the solution was to install Safari plugins Inquisitor or Glims but Apple have removed the interfaces from Safari 4 that these plugins used - and there is still no built in Safari Preference to set the locale of the Google search. Effectively this renders the Safari Google Search field pretty well useless - at least for UK users. I'm having trouble with Sing that Itune; it's finding lyrics for fewer and fewer songs. Which one is your favorite? I want one that automatically displays lyrics and saves them in Itunes if they aren't there already, but if I already have lyrics I don't want it saving over them.
