I have a Macbook Pro and seems there is an issue with my chargers light indicator. When I plug in it, it glows green first, then turns to orange and then goes off. While it's off, it seems that my battery is not charging but also does not lose any charge, so it just keeps the charge on the battery. Should I be worried about that ?

I just noticed, the sleep indicator light pulses when my MBP is in sleep, but is always completely off when it's in use. This is actually a little frustrating, as sometimes I leave my MBP idle with the screen off and the backlit keyboard off as well, and I can't tell if the thing is on or not since it's dead silent.
Also, I noticed that when I leave my MBP plugged in, idle overnight, the sleep indicator light is solid in the morning. It's definitely not indicating sleep, since the unit is on, so I'm not sure what it means.
Anyway, anyone else think the sleep indicator light should be solid when the computer is in use? How would you tell the difference between an MBP that is powered off, and closed and slipped into a backpack, from an MBP that is simply powered on but fails to enter sleep for some reason?
Is there a way to keep the light on forever, sort of like a power indicator? ALL my previous laptops have some sort of power LED just so you can at least tell it's on. It just doesn't make sense to me.
I noticed when I put my new MBP 15" to sleep, there is a little black dot inside the sleep light. I know it's a minor issue, but is this normal?
If not normal, is it possible dust got inside? Would I be able to blow aerosol air in that area if I remove the bottom plate?

It's been on for about 24 hours because I'm downloading a large file. (It's been completely on, no sleep.) I was using it a couple of minutes ago when I noticed the battery was low. I plugged it in without turning it off and went downstairs. When I came back, it appeared to be shut down. I tried pressing buttons on he keyboard/moving the mouse to see if it just went to sleep but there's no response. Even pressing the power button doesn't do anything.
when I close the lid, the sleep indicator is on. (IIRC, it's supposed to flash when it's sleeping but right now, the white light indicator is solid and only goes off when I open the lid.)
I recently bought a new MacBook Pro from Apple (2011 October Model) and i've gone to turn it on today and the charger does not light up, nor does it charge the battery any ideas?

I bought this Late 2007 macbook off of craigslist, and it was working perfectly. But after a little water got mon my macbook and charger, I plugged it in and it had a bright green light and wouldn't charge. The Next day I plugged it in and it only had a dim green light, it wouldn't Start up without the battery, or run without it. Now all I need is the battery in it to start it up and it will run off of the charger, But it still has that dim green light. The charger is a little Damaged, Photo's In the attachments. My dog chewed on it a while back. This is my first macbook, And the dvd drive is not working, but I have managed to reinstall SL with USB, So it is not a software problem.

It used to stay green when the laptop was charged but now it turns off. It usually happens when I put the computer to sleep. After a while the charger light turns off. Not a huge issue but I was wondering if other people were seeing something similar and if there was something I could do to get the light back on (I think it looks nice).

I tried to unplug it, and plug it back in, but there's no LED light on the charger, and the battery information at the top-right corner of my computer says "Not charging".
When I look closely, I can see a very dim green light, but you can barely see it.
The computer itself registers that the charger is connected, by increasing the brightness a bit, but no charging. I already tried the SMC restore thing

I recently received a Power Mac G5 from work. They told me I could have it, but reformatting the hard drive and reinstalling the OS was on me. So, I took it home, and plugged it in to turn it on, and the white light on the front blinks 3 times and then stays steady... and then blinks 3 times again... and so on and so on.
The RAM that came with it was bad, so I put in 2, 1 GB PC3200 sticks in it. Isn't it a RAM problem?
When my mother plugs her 13" MBP into the wall, the charger light is green and very dim. The charger light will not turn red. I tried my charger and 2 other ones. same problem. Pressing the battery indicator button in the left side will not light up at all. We left the computer plugged in for a few hours, and it still doesn't power on. I reseated the battery connector, reset the SMC, reset the PRAM/NVRAM, and the computer still won't turn on. No lights (except the magsafe that is faintly green). I'm sure it the logic board that failed in her 4 month old $1200 computer, but if you have any suggestions, let me know. We are going to the Apple Store soon. If it is indeed the logic board, then people that says Dell computers are crap will have to think again. My mom's work computer (Latitude E6400) is a year old.

I have macbook air 13inch 2011 model. 2 days back It wasn't charging and dim green light was showing. I visited service center which is far from where i live.They said battery was short, they removed battery and placed it back and my mac started working. I came back home, next day again same issue. I went upstairs last night to find my Macbook Pro's charger had no light lit up on it. I tried everything including changing wall sockets, resetting the SMC, with and without the battery - nothing! I then noticed I could feel the electrical current on my Macbook Pro and then it started, a loud ticking coming from the brick. It's dead. It's just under 18 months old. Apple has said that I have no Applecare, no tech support and no warranty so buy a new one. I thought electronics HAD to have a 2-year warranty on them in Europe? Can I take that to apple? It's �60 for a new one and things like this shouldn't fail after just 17 months.
It's the old 85W type. The guy at Apple told me they only do the "new" 60W types. Can I use these with a June '08 Macbook Pro? I've had no end of problems with my MBP. I may call an end to Apple - I'm not happy paying over the odds for this Macbook less than 18 months ago for it to have had so many problems already.
I put my MacBook on charge but nothing happened there was no orange or green light and in the top right hand corner it said 'not charging' . I tried it a few more times and then the led just flicked from green to orange so I shut the mac down just before it ran out of battery. I then borrowed my friends macbok charger the same power as my other one but now the led just flashes orange and as it mac won't turn on I guess it's not charging it properly.

One of the prongs that go into the wall is slightly bent so it might be because of that.
My question is will Apple replace this charger for me? Do they give the new magsafe adapters as replacements or will they give me an old one?
I am having a Power/Battery problem with a Macbook (surprise surprise!). This Macbook is the first generation, early 2006 model. It is a 2Ghz Intel Core Duo, black. This Macbook will not charge a battery, any of the 4 Macbook batteries I have tried. However, it will recognize each battery I put in (using About this Mac), and it will run on battery power when not connected to AC power. The charger light is always a very faint green light (same for both 65 and 85W chargers). Occasionally it will shine the bright green (normal) for a moment, but quickly dulls to the very faint green light.
Last night I tried swapping out the internal battery connector that I know is right for this macbook. After the installation, when I started it for the first time, the light on the charger appeared orange for the first time. I waited to see if the "charging" lights on the known-good battery would light up, but they never did. Eventually the charger returned to the same faint green color. Has anyone seen this before? From what I can tell the only parts remaining that could be the problem are the internal Magsafe connector and the logic board itself.
My battery died while listening to music today and when I plugged in the power supply, the computer will not accept the charge and the power supply light is blinking yellow but very faint.

I use my charger for my sisters laptop and it works therefore indicating that the charger isn't the problem but when I charge my laptop it shows a faint green light but not charging! It's cause water spilled on my laptop the day before but it was not a lot & I let it to dry but everything works well except from the charger port!
