Nov 15, 2009Is it possible to put slower memory to Mac Pro 2008? Will they be automatically overclocked to 800 MHz if you mix some 667 and 800 modules ?

Nov 26, 2010I just installed 8 gigs of ram on my mid 2009 13 inch macbook pro. OSX recognized the ram as soon as I rebooted but the windows partition still says 4 gigabytes. Am I forgetting something or is windows just... being windows.
