Applications :: Convert Toast Image File To Dmg File?
Dec 29, 2010
i have a toast image file and i want to convert it to dmg format so it can open to any mac that doesn't have toast installed, is there a way to do this from the latest version of Toast Titanium?
i was wondering how i use toast to convert my mp4 file to a video_ts file?also I have ISO files and was wondering if/how to convert them to a video_ts file?
I managed to successfully hide the file: cat picture.jpg hidden.rtf.zip > picture2.jpg
results in a picture (picture2.jpg) that is the size of the sum of picture.jpg and hidden.rtf.zip. I presume this means that I am successfully putting hidden into the picture.I can open picture2.jpg, but I can't figure out a way to access the hidden zip.
I have a .mov file from iMovie that I would like to burn on to a DVD. I am using the latest version of Toast Titanium 8 (which I bought as an update from Toast 6 in the hope that it would fix the problem) but I keep coming up with Error messages.
When I click on the .toast file I need to install I get the usual window you get when clicking on a .dmg file. When I doubleclick on the install icon I get this message:
Application Launch Failure:
The application "appname Install" could not be lanched because of a shared library error: "<BaseInstaller Carbon>"
Am I missing any carbon library? I've never installed such thing so I guess I lack this kind of library and i don't know the correct one to install or how to.
I made an image of my Windows XP laptop drive using Macrium. I can see the image file there on one of my Mac Pro's internal drives, but Im not able to select in Fusion.. Is there a way to make a Fusion VM from this image? If not, how do I go about creating a VM from my laptops's HD? I'm using Fusion 2.6.
Pulled an old hard disk from a windows box, and all the file names for my tunes are in order, but these are not the ID3 tags, so as soon as imported into iTunes, its just showing 'Track 1, track 2 etc' Is there an app i can run these files through, to convert the file name to ID3 tags before importing?

I am looking for a program that will easily create one file (either MP3 or WAV) out of multiple MP3s. I want to create a podcast of some live concerts but don't want to have to play back the individual files into a program to record them. DOes such a program exist?
For years in my department we have been supplied with PowerPoint line drawings to put into our Indesign Executive Summarys etc and have had to redraw them as the quality is poor when copied across. Does anyone know if there is a plugin of some form that can actually convert these line drawings into vector for us so that we don't have to redraw them?I did find a thread that suggested doing 'print to file' from PowerPoint and saving the slides as Post Script files. I have only managed to get this to 'kind of' work with a couple of slides, the coloured boxes come across fine but the text comes across rotated at a 90 degree angel. Still proving time consuming as the text lines come across as separate text boxes too.
I need a free converter that will convert a WMV file into a file that iMovie will recognize. Also, an application that won't leave a watermark on the video.
I am trying to down convert a large avi file to smaller scale using mpeg streamclip, however, I am getting no audio at all when i drop in any clip. When I click play in the preview window it shows no audio at all.
i just downloaded a torrent and it contained a bunch of toast files, all the other files mounted fine but one file says that it contains no mountable file systems...it just turns out that this is the most important file of the bunch
I am looking for an application that converts comic book files (cbr) to a image files. I have done a bit of searching and turned up with nothing useful.
So I have my DVD catalog backed up to external drive, and if you've ever ripped your DVD's you'll know that it creates a "VIDEO_TS" folder with files in there, in this case, a bunch of VOB files.
there's an app that I can download that will take those VOBs, and combine them into ONE MP4.?
Today I tried opening my keynotes presentation file to make amendments to it and when I double clicked on it, the program loading bar only loaded up a third of the way and then hanged. I then tried to save it to a flash drive and use it on a different computer, but when I tried to copy it over to the flash drive it gave me this error: "the finder cannot complete the operation because some data in "garment styles" could not be read or written error code - 36".
I have tried changing the file extension to a zip, then unzipping it and then renaming it but that did not work.(It wouldn't let me unzip it). I have also looked at the index file name to see if that was the problem, but that is as it should be.
I have also tried uploading it to a website and emailing it and it will not let me.
Is there anyway I can recover this file as I have been working on it for over a month and it is due next week, or will I need to start again?
I have a concert I recorded and I would like to extract the audio from either the MPEG-2 file or the DIVX file. Is there any program that will extract either the AC3 or MP3 audio? If it is the AC3, what else do I need to use to convert it to MP3 or AAC or WAV?
