As the title states, I would like to change the password on my iTunes account. I used the name of my (now) ex-girlfriend and want to change it for obvious reasons (I know it is cheesy ). Is there any way to do it?

I authorized the current 2 computers but when I go to play some older music in itunes I get a pop up to authorize the computer with my old itunes account which hasn't been used for over 6-7 years. The email account I wrote down is perhaps in use or perhaps not, but most importantly the billing information is on the account. How do I change the address to something else? Is there any way to avoid having to give my password to my daughter? I have had the same AppleID for many years, and it also my email address, so I would prefer not to share the password with all of my family. As far as I can tell, I can not change my AppleID associated with my iTunes account.I do want my daughter to be able to download apps or updates to existing apps even when she is not with me, but that doesn't seem possible without sharing passwords. It would be great if iTunes allowed "sub-accounts."

Why is it that for some of my songs, iTunes displays, right below the application title, "iTunes," the name of the song, and below that, the name of the artist. In some other cases, it displays the name of the song, and below that, the name of the ALBUM. All fields in song info are filled out correctly.
Secondly, how do I change my password on here?
I just set up an iChat account for the first time and it wont accept my password. Changed the password 3 times to confirm it matched and it still wont let me log on. I set up another account and it's the same thing with the password not being accepted. What's the deal? "The .Mac password you entered is not correct. If you forgot your password, you can reset at the .Mac website."

Issue: keys Cap lock, R and 4 do not work and Mac boots only in safe mode. Account is pw protected-my pw begins with R and have no guest a/c active. Do i need a new keyboard or is there a cheaper way?

We had a HDD fail on one of our office Mac laptops (a power pc G4). Apple repaired it and I restored all files etc from a backup. I was the administrator during the restore. Before I could get back, the user changed that account to a standard account and changed the name. Now there is no way to change the account back, because there is no admin to authenticate the change. Anything I can do? I am not an advanced computer/Mac person.

Similarly, I was/am unable to log into my Gmail account via the Mail client on my 16 GB, 3G iPad, or the 32 GB, 3rd Gen iPod Touch. I keep getting the error message that either the user name or the password is wrong! I checked and re-checked, but I did NOT see anything wrong? The funny thing is that I could log into my Gmail account via Safari on ALL three devices, but NOT via the Mail client on the three device!

I do have Time Machine backup from old admin account, but it also doesn't let me open folders from the new admin.

I'm working on a Mac-mini running OS X Tiger. I've got one admin account setup and 5 or so standard accounts. I'm configuring a connection to a shared folder on a network server on the standard accounts and I wanted to connect to that share using an account id that is DIFFERENT than the standard account id. I enter that id and the correct password and I check "save password in keychain" (or whatever that check box says) and I get prompted to enter the "keychain password" to unlock the keychain. The problem is, I never setup a keychain password for the standard user account. I'v tried the password for the administrator account (even though I can't specify the admin id anywhere) and I've tried the password for the standard user account, neither of which work.
However, I can still get successfully connected to the shared folder. I just don't want the user to have to enter the password each time they login.
Additionally, after going through this, Safari is now asking for a keychain password for the "login" keychain when it first starts up and loads the default Apple.com home page.
Is there a way to have a different mail password instead of using the one that you use to login to Lion directly? Currently the two are the same login password = mail password.I'd like to have a different password for the two.Is this possible whether via command line or otherwise?

I've been changing the permissions on some of my folders and files in my normal user account so they can be accessed and changed by another account. Problem is, I have a program that saves new files into a particular folder. When it saves the new file, the permissions are the default, meaning I have to change them myself in order to make them writeable by the new account. So my first question is - is there a way to make my first user account always save files with a set of permissions that I specify?
My next question is - what should these permissions be? Both of the accounts are admin accounts. Should I therefore set group to be 'admin' and give rwx permissions to the group? Or is it possible to set owner to 'admin'? Can a file be owned by a group? Looking forward to your answers! This UNIX stuff is fun!
I have an AOL iTunes account and would like to convert it into a regular iTunes account. I know how to do this but I used my AIM screen name and I don't have a credit card so I can't use the method from Apple Knowledge Base. Is there any other way to do this?

It comes up and asks me for the password which is then rejected.Beyond reloading the OS not sure what options are. Did a permissions repair but no other luck.

They backed my new laptop up with my old hard drive so now i got my old stuff on the new one. I want to download this application so i can fix this .zip file but i need the admin password. I've tried using the install discs but they tell me to enter the admin. I've tried putting the install disc in and pushing c on start up but it just freezes on the white screen with the apple.
