I want to be able to check the downloads that I put on iPad if they were free or paid for when I first downloaded them. It is another way of checking if my 8-year-old son had downloaded apps that were not free!Â

When I bought my Macbook Pro on Thursday I also purchased Pages whilst in the Apple store in town. The assistant helped me start the installation whilst I was there and he told me that it would continue when I got home, even if i shut the laptop down there. So this is what I did, however, since I've been home, every time I click Install on Pages in the App Store a message comes up saying : "There was an error in the App Store. Please try again later."Â Another thing I should mention is that I purchased Pages on a different Apple ID account when I was in the store, but I was told I only had to log in to that account from my Macbook Pro and I could easily download Pages.

View 2 Replies View RelatedI have two retina MacBook Pros. Since getting them and trying to download software, I've downloaded multiple .DMGs with invalid checksums. Most recently, I downloaded the MacBook Pro (Mid 2012) Update multiple times from each computer using both Chrome and Safari and it took 8 tries before I got a valid copy (each had a totally different checksum). This has also happened when downloading Adobe CS5.5 and CS6 installers directly from Adobe's site.Â

I installed Fusion 3 and 32bit Win 7. I allocated 32GB to it. Now when I check inside I see 21GB free (I have installed MS office 2010 and Smartdraw). I have access to VM ware setting where I can reduce the size of the Fusion 3 from 32 GB to a lesser number and I was thinking maybe 22GB, thus reclaiming 10GB for Mac.Do you think making such a change on the fly will make something go wrong on the Mac side or inside the VM.....BTW, I have the fully loaded MBA 11.6".

Not sure where to post this as it really applies to the Apple Online Store itself. On my iMac running 10.6.3 I can't check out on the Apple online store. I can add items to my cart (doesn't matter what it is: i've tried various items). But once I go to check out it asks me to login and when I do I get taken to a page that says "An error has occurred during your session. Please return to the Store Menu to continue shopping." No matter how many times I try to checkout, I'll get the same error.However, if I login to the Apple store from my Macbook Air running 10.5.8 (which recognizes me as the same account as the same items will show up in the cart) I can checkout fine with no problems.

However, when I try to use PhotoSync to sync all my photos from my iPhone to my MacBook Pro, I get an error message telling me to check my wifi settings - even though both of my iDevices are connected to the same wifi network. I get the same error message when I try to use PhotoSync to sync the pictures from my iPhone 4 to my iPad 2, as well.

I was just having a browse through my purchased Apps on the Mac App Store. As you can see I am running Lion 10.7.3, however Lion appears in my purchased items but gives me the option to "Download" instead of "Downloaded".Â
