I already have the necessary requirements but it does not show up in my system preferences. Mobileme is there. I have gone to the Apple support on here but it does not tell you what to di if you do not see icloud in the system preference.
I've succesfully drug some Pages Documents into iCloud on my iMac. Only one shows the download options of PDF and Word and shows the first page of the Document in Pages. All the rest show a generic Pages icon on the face of the document and only the option to download as a Pages Document. What do I do to get the PDF option?Â
I have a dozen or so movies and TV shows I've purchased through iTunes or Apple TV. With the arrival of iOS 5.1 they all show up for downloading or streaming on my iPhone, iPad and Apple TV, but not on either of my Macs (both running the latest version of Lion and iTunes (10.6) (however music downloads or streams just fine to the Macs just fine via icoud). According to this link, movies and TV shows should be available for redownloading to Macs and PCs running iTunes 10.6.Â
Have an email with 18 attachments (word and excel stuff) is my only option to click (or right-click) each one to download them?? or is there a quicker (read simpler) way. This is via web browser iCloud, as I'm running an older macbook Pro.
I can read my incoming email at iCloud.com, and on my iPad, but it no longer flows from iCloud to iMac Mail. There have been no configuration changes on iMac Mail. Apple says "All systems go," but I'm skeptical; I think the incoming mail IMAP server is broken. In Mail "Accounts" the incoming mail server is set to "p02-imap.mail.me.com" and the entry is greyed out so I can't change it to the recommended [URL] Outgoing email works normally in Mail.
I've got a private law practice for which I use an iCloud account. My message count now puts me close to the 10,000 mark and I'd like to substantially reduce the footprint of my inbox without actually deleting the older messages by saving them locally?Â
Does anyone know of a native-to-Mac-OS-X way to accomplish this? Or perhaps a trustworthy App?Â
When I open iCloud the Iwork page just displays the learn more and install for IOs options even though I have pages on my iMac.???How can I activate Iwork in iCloud?Do I need to download the keynote and numbers apps as well?
Where can I download the Apple OS X Lion Software? It was popping up on my screen numerious times before I was ready to download it, now I never see it. I have already taken the necessary action to have my Mobile Me moved at the end of the month.
I've just activated iCloud on my MBA for the first time and pleased to see contacts on my iPhone/iPad have synced nicely. I've activated the music automatic download function within both the iPhone and iPad. I just wondered if that is all I need to do to get a new download of a song or movie etc on the iPhone/iPad to appear on the MBA or is there another setting somewhere in the Mac I need to check?Â
Also with iCloud activated and always signed in on the MBA does this impact on its battery life much? Can't say I noticed any difference on the iPhone or iPad.
I have tranferred all my documents to the icloud from mobileme but cannot figure out how to access the icloud to download my Pages docs. What software do I need to have on my computer and how do I go about getting my Pages documents so I can print them? I've spent too many hours reading about this on the web and have not found any answers. This should be easier.
Mail won't download on my Snow Leopard Macbook Air. Activity icon keeps spinning then it asks for my MobileMe password and keeps spinning. What's the issue? I have iCloud on my Lion Mac Mini and iPohne 4S and they work fine. Is this the same old legacy system not supported aggravation?
I am trying to download music I bought on my iPhone through the cloud and it says my computer is not authorized. You must authorize this computer before you can download previous purchases. How do I authorize my computer?
When I upload a file created in third party apps like Scrivener or Nisus writer on my iMac, I see the file in the finder under iCloud drive in my MacAir, but cannot directly download it. Next to the file name there is a download icon (the same that's used in icloud.com) but clicking on it doesn't do anything. I can't drag the file to my desktop either. I have to go in my browser to icloud.com and download it from there.Â
I thought I can upload and download files just like in Dropbox or Sugarsync, I use both, without having to go the the icloud.com website.Â
I am using the latest version of Yosemite on both machines.
