When I open Safari i doesn't load my homepage, it just stays white. And also the webprocess is running at a 100%. I uninstalled the 1Password exstension and it didn't help. Safari works fine in the guest account.

I never used Messages on my Mac but after I started using handoff now I wanted to use it.So after I opened my Messages app on my mac and typed in my ID Password the window opened but just stayed white.I receive the messages people write me, but only iMessage messages, no sms messages, but everytime I want to reply the window stays white.Also I can't open the preferences it's like the app is not opening completely? Everytime I start up Safari it will open up all windows that were open during my last session when I had quit the application. It will also not open to the homepage listed in preferences as well when I start Safari.Â

I have set my home page in Safari Preferences, but still every time I close Safari and then open it, it reopens on the last window I had used. I want it to open on my home page every time. I'm not referring to new tabs. This happens when I shut down Safari and reopen it. It doesn't matter if I shut down my computer in-between or not. I'm using Safari 5.1.7 and Lion 10.7.4.

Ok, I just got my iMac, and I never really knew much about them before buying it. Of course I used PC's/Windows XP. I'm wondering is if I can run app's such as Safari,etc..... In full screen?? Is the window size limitation the same for all OSX programs? Lets say I was to make Firefox my default browser, am I still limited to the same window size? Is it possible for me to set Goggle as my homepage for when I open Safari? Am I limited to the Apple home page on Safari, would it be same with Firefox? I was quite used to my Windows XP/Firefox/Google setup, I know I'll have to get used to quite a lot of changes, but that's what I'm most concerned about right now.

When I go through the Apple Store ordering process, the body of the 'configure' page won't load. I get the header and footer, but no actual way to add more ram, bigger HD, applecare, etc, and proceed to place an order. Just a big empty space.Â

View 21 Replies View RelatedI've had problems for a while with Safari sporadically not loading images on some web pages. The problem was so irritating that I ditched it in favour of Camino.
Now Safari 4 is out, I'm trying to move back, but the problem is still there.
It typically happens when viewing a page containing lots of images. Here are two I have recurring problems with:

A bit of Googling shows I'm not alone, but there doesn't seem to be any proper explanation of the problem or a solution out there. Clearing the cache solves the problem temporarily, but it quickly returns and there's no rhyme or reason to what will or won't load. I've also tried resetting Safari and deleting the prefs file (which I guess do the same thing).
I cannot get Facebook to load since upgrading Safari from 5.1.3 to 5.14.Â
I am using Snow Leopard 10.6.8Â

I have had one problem ever since I downloaded Safari 5. Sometimes when attempting to load pages, it just doesn't work. It's like that my internet gets turned off when I am trying to load a page. Any one know if this is a known problem, or if it is just a coincidence that my internet became "glitchy" when I downloaded Safari 5?
View 4 Replies View RelatedSuddenly Safari either is very slow to load or doesn't load some pages at all. I have tracked it down to be pages containing html5 canvas element.
This happens only on iMac and Macbook Air. It doesn't happen on iPad nor on Safari on a Pc. It will happen on the Mac computer both when the pages are out on the internet and when the pages ar locally stored. It's driving me absolutely mad!
I've tried emptying cache both through Safari menu and by removing Safari's Cache.db, I've reset Safari preferences, restarted, and changed DNS to Open DNS (though it seems strange it should be an issue since the problem also occurs when I run the site on localhost). Â
If I open the page directly entering the url in the adressbar it works fine, it is when I try to access it from a link on another page on the site it doesn't load. If I press reload it will load fine. The link from other pages can be either an html <a href="url"> tag or javascript window.location or window.location.href neither works. The weird thing is it worked fine until just yesterday. And it works fine on every other machine except the Macintoshes.
My Mac mini starts with a white screen but stays on the apple logo and the small circle as if it is booting. I turn it off manually and switches it back again after a while. This time no apple logo appears, but got 2 symbols popping up and blinking as shown in the pictures attached.

I dropped my Macbook while in the hospital yesterday recouping from spinal surgery now I am really pissed! So when I power it on I get a grey screen with the apple logo and the hard drive making uncommon noises. It never makes it to the password screen, what can I do? Help me please as having this terribly bad back is one thing but losing my Macbook too with all my Logic music etc is really decimating. Thanks guys....
