I have a macbook pro. I just switched the homepage from safari over to google and now I want to switch back. What is the default homepage that came with my macbook pro and what is the address?

You move the mouse over to the scroll bar, favorites bar, minimize, etc... and the mouse is stuck in the wrong icon, be it the text pointer, hand pointer, window resize pointer... when it should be the arrow. It is such an obvious bug and I can't believe Apple hasn't noticed this.

Is there a way to back out of Safari 4b? It seems to be really buggy and slow of late - pages take for ever to load. I'd like to just go back to the latest 3.x.x version until the beta is finished.

In Safari 4.1.2 I acidently turned Caret browsing on. Before I could just use my arrowkeys to scroll through a page, but now I am suddenly Caret browsing. I checked google, I searched this forum for Caret, but nowhere on the internet, I can find a way to go back to 'normal' browsing. Does anybody know how to switch back?

This has been happening for awhile now. No doubt due to some upgrade. When I search for a string I'll get the list of google hits. And the search string will still be right in the window where I typed it. But sometimes after going to a link, I'll come back to this page and the page will be the same, but the search string is from a previous search. This is an inconvenience as I frequently go back to edit the search. I can't seem to reproduce it at the moment.

I have notice reacently that when i search multiple times in google through the web based search box ( not the safari google bar) and then click on a link to a page, visit the page and the go back page ( via the back button on the two finger swipe) the search term is not the same the same as the last typed search cryteria but corresponds to the first search term used at the beging, thus the result page doesnt have the link to the page that was visited.Â

After installing adobe cs5 on my computer, gfxcardstatus has been going crazy changing between intel and nvidia graphics. I happens at random, while using google chrome. For instance, the front page o [URL] triggers the nvidia graphics to come one. When i navigate to these forums, it switches back to intel. When I log into gmail, its fine, until gmail signs me into gchat(i disables video chatting b/c i know that was a known issue with turning on the nvidia card)

For days I've been trying to set up my safari to always open with a specific page, however everytime I clear the history it also wipes my home page. I've tried the preference tab, homepage, etc. but no luck. Am I suppose to check other boxes?

I just purchased a used mac, and when i am in safari, using facebook; when I click to view an image, then go to unclick it (which would normally take you back to facebook) my browser goes back to my homepage. I just installed windows on my macbook Pro, but i could only install it on the. Boot camp driver. Cuz thats the only one that would format to NTFS. Now that i installed windows, i cannot switch back to osx. If i didnt delete or completely remove osx, will someone please tell me how i can get back to osx. Yes, i tried to f6 it and see if i can switch back but osx isnt even listed on there. So my question again, did i completely remove osx?

i'm already a safari user on my old PC and i used to have yahoo as my search engine (next to the address bar in the top) but right now i have google and am not that satisfy with google and i wanna change it into yahoo. so i pressed the magnifier to select yahoo (like i used to do on my PC safari to switch between google/yahoo) but i'm not finding yahoo. I have set my home page in Safari Preferences, but still every time I close Safari and then open it, it reopens on the last window I had used. I want it to open on my home page every time. Ok, I just got my iMac, and I never really knew much about them before buying it. Of course I used PC's/Windows XP. I'm wondering is if I can run app's such as Safari,etc..... In full screen?? Is the window size limitation the same for all OSX programs? Lets say I was to make Firefox my default browser, am I still limited to the same window size? Is it possible for me to set Goggle as my homepage for when I open Safari? Am I limited to the Apple home page on Safari, would it be same with Firefox? I was quite used to my Windows XP/Firefox/Google setup, I know I'll have to get used to quite a lot of changes, but that's what I'm most concerned about right now.
