Jun 24, 2012When I open Safari i doesn't load my homepage, it just stays white. And also the webprocess is running at a 100%. I uninstalled the 1Password exstension and it didn't help. Safari works fine in the guest account.

Feb 20, 2012If I quit Safari with a single or multiple pages open, the next time I open Safari all the pages come back, the pages that were open when I quit the application.Even though in preferences I have a homepage selected it doesn't seem to matter.

Jun 10, 2012I have set my home page in Safari Preferences, but still every time I close Safari and then open it, it reopens on the last window I had used. I want it to open on my home page every time. I'm not referring to new tabs. This happens when I shut down Safari and reopen it. It doesn't matter if I shut down my computer in-between or not. I'm using Safari 5.1.7 and Lion 10.7.4.

Mar 16, 2009Ok, I just got my iMac, and I never really knew much about them before buying it. Of course I used PC's/Windows XP. I'm wondering is if I can run app's such as Safari,etc..... In full screen?? Is the window size limitation the same for all OSX programs? Lets say I was to make Firefox my default browser, am I still limited to the same window size? Is it possible for me to set Goggle as my homepage for when I open Safari? Am I limited to the Apple home page on Safari, would it be same with Firefox? I was quite used to my Windows XP/Firefox/Google setup, I know I'll have to get used to quite a lot of changes, but that's what I'm most concerned about right now.

Jun 13, 2012Suddenly about 5days ago, Safari suddenly stopped loading my homepage, uk.yahoo.com - which has been my Homepage for years. I thought it was perhaps a Yahoo problem, but apparently not, as Safari loads any other page from my favorites etc without any hitch, meaning its clearly not an ISP problem either. I did find a thread that suggested un-ticking the 'Restore Windows' box in the General section in System Preferences, (not Safari Preferences), but I cant see a General tab in System Preferences? Additionally, I have deleted Safari, and reinstalled it, but problem still exists. I'm running OS X 10.5.8 and Safari version 5.0.6.

Jun 9, 2012I just purchased a used mac, and when i am in safari, using facebook; when I click to view an image, then go to unclick it (which would normally take you back to facebook) my browser goes back to my homepage. Jun 8, 2012I launched Mail as I ordinarily do. It opened up, but the header bar was grayed out. Finally I managed to open program via Message/Go To/ Inbox, but no messages appeared in any of my mailboxes (even though I had several still in there from today). Nothing is happening, I even can't quit teh mail program.

Jun 21, 2012i did everything that was told to me in the other post but it still doesnt open. ive never had this problem before it started two days ago. when i click on it it shows its loading for two seconds than nothing. and when it does open its a blank white screen that says local string not found.

May 16, 2012I just reformatted my system and installed all software again. My config is: Lion 10.7.3, Safari 5.1.5.
In the past, when I opened Safari, even a single window opened in a Tab, now when I open just one window (i.e. only one Tab), it doesnt open in a Tab, , only when I do a Command + T to add another Tab, does the first window convert into a Tab. The resulting problem is that if I want to drag one window to another (where the first one has only one Tab), I cant do that, since it doesnt appear as a Tab, which means there is nothing to select and drag to another window. Â

Jun 18, 2012during the system has been actualizing and power down i have close my macbook pro.Since these action the mac mail program and ical don't open. When i click on the icons they are jumping but dont open. system preferences is opening but the subfolders like network, dock, cds&DVDs and so on dosn't open. in the status bar there is shown for example loading network but nothing is going on.
