IWeb 09 :: Auto Refresh Frame - HTML Setup?
I have a remote webcam at a summer camp that I am webmaster for. I use iWeb for the site. Currently we have the webcam feeding to another url. How can I get that to show on a page on our site?
I got a great answer that works:
Display the other url in a HTML Snippet with the <iframe> element.
<iframe src="http://url.to.file.html" frameborder="0" width="500" height="500" scrolling="no" allowTransparency="true"></iframe>
Now I need that frame to refresh on it's own. How would I set that up? How would that html tie-in with the other?

I have a single page web site I change frequently. It's very simple, but my readers check it often. Sometimes after an update my browser will load the recent cached version and all the images are wrong. A simple refresh makes everything ok. Is there an html snippet or some way to make my web site auto-refresh every 30 seconds or something like that? Applications :: Any Way To Set Auto Refresh ITunes Library?
Is there a way to make iTunes auto refresh its library? I have 2 MacBooks, a Mac Pro, and a Mac Mini for an HTPC with an external 2TB drive. I have all of our music on the external drive. Plex Media Server auto-refreshes wonderfully. Just looking for a script or workflow or app or service that will automatically add my new media in my iTunes Library to the iTunes program every 24 hours or so.

OS X Leopard :: Auto Refresh To Show Contents Of Shared PC Volume
I am a Mac-user in a PC environment, our scanner is connected to a PC, the documents are scanned to a shared folder which I can access from my Mac (OSX 10.5.7, using the Connect to server smb://pc_name/foldername). When I connect to the shared volume, everything works fine, BUT if I then add files to the volume (from the PC), these files are not visible on the Mac & there is no refresh. I can force the Mac to refresh by creating a file on the shared volume from the Mac (say a folder which I then delete). IE This forces the shared volume to refresh & I see the missing files. This is a bit clumsy, is there a way to make OSX auto-refresh the contents of a shared volume? Information: MacBook Mac OS X (10.5.7)

Applications :: Entourage Auto Signature HTML?
Hopefully there will be a solution for this, as everything else I've posted since I took the plunge and bought a mac about 9 months ago has worked out great. I use entourage for email, and want to include a LinkedIn image in my auto-signature, and have that hyperlink to my public linkedin profile (linkedin provides the html for this). However, I can't seem to get that to work...just like I can't get the link to my website to hyperlink.

so I edited a picture in photoshop and instead of importing the new picture on each single page, deleting the old one and lining it all back up I just went to the published folder and replaced the image with the new one in each pages folder. now when i "visit" website it looks perfect, with my new image and everything. but in iWeb it still shows the old image since I didn't replace the image through iWeb, now even when i close iWeb and relaunch it, it still shows the old image. is there a way to refresh the pages in iWeb and make it show the new image? I use a drop down menu on my site [URL]. As a target for the getURL I can address _self, but that will open the new page within the frame of the menu; not very useful. Alternatively, I can target _blank, which will open the page in a new window. Given the fact that visitors of my site in average view some 12 odd pages, they will end up with twelve windows; not very useful either. I did a good search and I haven't seen this particular issue. Here's the problem I am having. I made a web page for my family and I have 4 or 5 pages with iFrames within the site. They all work fine except for the latest one I tried. I am trying to put a Facebook page within an iFrame, but it's not working the way it should. It shows up inside the frame, but you see sort of a grayish overlay of the Facebook page. When you click on the page to interact with it, it goes to the Facebook page but then it leaves the frame, it actually leaves the web page altogether, it goes to the Facebook address. Mac Safari :: Any Way To Setup Auto Zoom
Is there any way to set up an auto zoom. I have a flat panel set up to my Mac Mini. The only problem is that I cannot get around HDCP; only by using 1080i. I created a simple, one-page Web page using template in iWeb and published it to my mobile.me account, then accessed it by Safari and File>Mail Contents of this Page, which opened it in Mail. OS X Leopard :: Installing Time Machine To Setup Auto Backup?
Not really, of course, but I recently added a second external drive for backups of my hardrive and an existing external drive. I wasn't using Time Machine previously but with this new drive, went to set up auto backups and received an error that the app isn't installed. I have no idea how drunken pilot error at some point in the past, I'm sure. I tried using the install CD to get at Time Machine but I've updated my OS since that install (Leopard) to 10.5.8, and as a result would need to partition everything and thus no longer have access to my current boot files. IWeb 09 :: Possible To Incorporate Motools Via HTML Snippets?
I have a pretty media rich site, with plenty of quicktime files. Unfortunately I don't like the iWeb/HTML standard of viewing Quicktime movies in the browser as it slows down page load times and/or requires a lot of unnecessary and redundant page building. Instead, I use a javascript built on motools to do an overlay view of a quicktime file (similar to how many trailers appear at quicktime.com). The problem with this however is that I have to do ALOT of manual HTML editing after I "publish to folder". I have inserted a HTML snippet into a page on my site, but as the code was being displayed i decided to "Send to the Back" via the arrange menu.
