ITunes :: Purchased An Album On It On Computer And One Of The Songs Will Not Play?
Jun 20, 2012
I purchased an album on iTunes on my computer, and one of the songs will not play. Itunes says that I need to authorize my computer to play it, but it is authorized. What do i do?
I purchased an album off the itunes store recently, and one of the songs does not play in full, it stops after about 30 seconds - any idea why, how I can fix it, or how I can complain about it?
I recently downloaded an album and two of the songs on it play until about half way through and then cut out! What is happening and how do I get them back?
I've been reading this site for a couple of years, this is my first time typing.
Computer crashed, nothing is accessable, at the advice of my nearest mac dealer, I did an erase and restore with my system disks, but now itunes says "all the music for my account has already been downloaded."
I purchased a song from iTunes today and after it downloaded I was unable play it after being told my computer was not authorized to play the song. After going through the steps to "authorize the computer" I was told it is already authorized. Thinking I was then going to be able to play the song, I was once again being told that my computer was not authorized.
I purchased a song and itunes keeps telling me my computer is not authorized to play it. When I type in the authorization information, it then tells me it's already authorized. Then when I try to play it, it tells me that the computer isn't authorized again?
In ITunes on my computer (not my IPod) the songs no longer play in succession. Only 1 song at a time will play. How do I remedy this so I can listen to an entire playlist?
I bought a song and was billed for it on iTunes. When I tried to play it, a pop-up said, "This computer is not authorized to play....Would you like to authorize it?" I signed in, clicked the authorize button, and it says, "This computer is already authorized" and the window closed. I still can't play the song. I read online to check with the computer administrator and the file --> song info. It is registered with my email address. All other songs I have bought play with no problems. I heard also I could reinstall iTunes, so I went online and installed iTunes 10.6. It is installed but nothing is changed.
When importing multi disc CD albums they will show up as three separate albums, 1,2 & 3 for example. How do I set it up so they show as one, 3 disc album and play through?
I just purchased an album, but one of the tracks didn't load. It is greyed out and there's an eclamation point next to where the track should be in my library. What should I do?

I'm using a 2008 iMac with OS 10.6.8, and iTunes 11.4. The U2 album "Songs Of Innocence" is supposedly to be found in the Purchased page on iTunes, but it's definitely not there. Is this something to do with the version of OS X that I'm running? How can I download the free album if I can't actually see it?
I purchased an album on iTunes some time ago, but I keep getting double track entries. Seems like there is a problem with downloaded tracks from iTunes. iTunes is indicating double track entries. Locally stored on my iPhone and and a duplicate track entry asking me to re-download the track from iCloud. I don't get it. I already downloaded the tracks and every time, I need to delete the double entries but they keep coming back and asking me again to re-download the same track again from iCloud.
Purchased songs from the iTunes Store that I have played for months are now unplayable because I am not authorized to listen to them. This just happened all of a sudden. I was presented with a dialogue box saying that I have authorized the maximum amount of computers (5). How did this happen and how do I go about fixing it? How would I de-authorize a computer?
I have my iTunes songs categorised as "Albums" and then "Title" but with compilation albums I end up with lots of icons each with a single song in each.
How can I amalgamate them all together so there is less on display and so I just need to click on one album cover and all the songs from that album are there and not spread out ?
My Daughter was given an i-tunes voucher and set up an account on i-tunes and then purchased songs using the voucher. the trouble is, we had a single account that we used for purchasing songs so that we could all download the purchased songs. Now she has synced her i-phone against her new account but i'd simply like to bring the new songs she purchased back into the main library and keep it that way.
The CD has the same album title but the artist are different is itunes is recognizing all the songs as different albums? Is there a way to still group them together.
I'm in the process of doing some major itunes organizing, and I'm noticing that some of my songs have automatically been grouped as an album when they are not actually on the same album. I tried deleting all of the info for each song and just entered the artist and song title, but it is still saying that they are part of an album.

songs from Vinyl, into iTunes and keeping the song order on the Album. As it stands, when I rip Vinyl onto my computer, then import the songs into iTunes, they seem to be arbitrarily organized. I'm sure there is some logic to the way iTunes is organizing them, but it is not the order of the Album. There must be some way to organize or 'sort' these songs in order of the Album. I remember on the older versions of iTunes, there used to be a numbering section on the far left hand side of the songs. I can't see that anymore and even when I control-click the songs, the sorting options don't seem to do much for me.
