Jul 21, 2010I tried to log onto the sirius online radio and it keeps saying username error/password incorrect blah blah blah. When I try to log in on my windows it works just fine. This doesn't seem to me a plugin error because I can't even get past the login server apparently. I don't know whats going on I tried calling sirius and they just told me to call Mac. OS X :: ISight Not Working With Flash Player?
Nov 13, 2010I have had my macbook pro 10.6.5 for over 2 years and have never had this problem. But this morning I tried to use my webcam with flash player online and it wouldn't work. I have spent about 2 hours reinstalling browsers, flash player and repairing permissions in disk utility but still no video.
The iSight does work in Photobooth and iMovie but for some reason when I select it in the Adobe Flash Player Settings nothing happens. The green light doesn't even go on.
Does anyone have any ideas of what I can try next?
I am studying abroad in France this semester so do not have my OS installation disks with me. I do have a time machine backup though

After I wake up my MacBook Pro from sleep and click on DVD player, it won't read the DVD. I get an error message. I have to log out and sign back in for it to work. My MBP does display the DVD on the desktop after wakeup, it's just the DVD player program that doesn't work.

Jun 3, 2007I've been having an issue with my flash player for a long time now. Basically, whenever I go to a site such as [URL] the box where the movie should be just says: Click Here to Download Plugin, and whenever I click to download it, the automatic download fails and I have to go to the manual download. Well, that all works fine (I've tried both the .dmg and the .zip files) until it opens the Adobe Flash Page after the download and installation are complete, and I still get that message that I need to download the plugin that I definitely JUST downloaded and installed.
This has been going on for a very annoying two weeks now, and I've even gone through my desktop and deleted a bunch of my stuff in order to free up my memory and get my computer running a tad bit faster, but that didn't do anything. Frankly, I'm annoyed, and just one step from taking my computer to the store and getting them to look at it.

May 6, 2012I am running Safari 5.1.5 on Lion 10.7.3. For about a year now, I have been having trouble running Adobe Flash Player to view videos. I can verify that I have Flash Player 11.2.202.235 installed, but on some (not all) website, most notably [URL] I just get a button to "Get Adobe Flash Player" even though I already have it. Flash-based ads work fine, it's really just for videos. I end up having to watch the non-working videos on Chrome where they work fine.

Apr 23, 2010about 3 or 4 days ago while surfing on YouTube I suddenly noticed that I can no longer press anything on the player anymore, no matter where on the flash application I press, it always just pauses the video. Even when I go over the volume control or the play button, they don't highlight in red anymore.
This is very annoying since I can't control the volume, fast forward, rewind, set higher resolution, click the google ads away... nothing works It just pauses the video when I click.
I emptied the cash of Chrome and restarted my Mac but nothing works.
I tried Safari and YouTube still works properly there.
I am using the latest version of Chrome (Beta 5.0.342.9).
Does anyone have a similar problem?

The player always used to work but all of a sudden it stopped. This problem persists on safari and firefox. I have Mac OS X Mavernick version 10.9.3.
I have tried the following
- install newest version of flash player
-Empty chache: library> cache> adobe> flashplayer
- Open Safari with 32bit
- Reset safari
- internet plug-ins are allowed (safari> preferences> allow plug ins
- Java skript in safari preferences is enabled
- cookies are removed
- the flash player does not work for the guest user neither
- Safari Extensions are off
- My installed plug-ins are: Quick time player / Shockwave Flash / Silverlight Plug-In /

When I click on a video within Facebook it appears to load the viewing pane but the video never starts. No error messages. May 27, 2012I have a MAC OSX 10.5.8, after the recent software update my flash player no longer works.I have read that there is a problem with security for the version of flash that I was using and this is the reason it was disabled. However, I have tried to download the most recent version from the Adobe website, but nothing happens and a message says I already have flash installed on my computer.
I have a version of flash in my HD>>Library>>Internet plug-ins, and there is also one in HD>>Library>>Internet plug-ins (Disabled) which I have tried to move but it only lets you copy it and it seems unable to be moved back to HD>>Library>>Plug-ins I have also tried to download the "No Script" addon for Firefox so that I can at least have flash working in Firefox, but that doesn't seem to be downloading either. I cannot now watch videos, listen to my favourite radio stations or even upload pics to ebay to create ebay listings. This problem ruining my internet enjoyment and I just hope that it can be fixed again. How dare Apple just do this without any warning or giving any info on how to easily fix this problem once flash has been disabled.

Unfortunately, part of the reason I want to get rid of it is because the cd player doesn't work anymore. Therefore, I am unable to 'c' boot from the original OS X disk and erase the hard drive. Is there another way to wipe all personal info from my computer, leaving only the operating system?

OS X V10.7 Lion :: Burn DVD With Lion That Plays On Dvd Player?
Jul 5, 2012I just got new imac version 10.7.3 LION...2.5GHz intel corei5, 4GB 1333 MHz DDR3 Desktop. It has no iDVD. I cannot use my old applic. install Disc that had iDVD ( iLife08) because when inserted, it says I can't open it because Power PC apps are no longer supported. NOW, an Apple Care tech. did not tell me that when Ijust talked to him. There is no way to get iDVD then for my new computer.
MY PROBLEM: I want to burn a dvd that will play in a DVD player. I created it from my dig. camera using iMovie. I tried to burn it to a DVD/RW but when inserted into two different DVD players, nothing. I then read I needed a DVD-R, and got that, but read that will not work on this computer either. I read of something called BURN which is some free software that does simple dvd's, but am afraid to download that and end up running in circles. I sure do not want to purchase some software for a rare occasion when I want to burn a DVD for a friend to play in his tv/dvd player.
how can I get my video from iMovie burned to a dvd that will be playable on a simple dvd player?I still have my old computer in a closet. It seems absurd to think I must drag it out, hook it up and use that when I spent all this money for a new computer so I'd be in some cloud...
