I've tried almost everything, except the right way apparently, to add pics to my current .mac homepage. I can get to edit, and it will let me change titles, descriptions, etc, but how do I add or change pictures? I use this homepage to show pics of my vacation rental, and I want to add some new pictures, and change some other ones. This should be easier. I have the pictures on my desktop, and on my idisk. I do not have iweb. I am running 10.4.11 Tiger. Thank you in advance for your help. If I can't easily do this, it may convince me to just not renew .mac. I sometimes wonder why I even still pay for it.
Is there a way to get pictures that are part of the library on my iphone on to my macbook. I find it completely unbelievable that Apple has purposely made it impossible to be able to get 4 YEARS OF PICTURES off my Iphone and back onto my computer.Â
I just noticed that the Yahoo! homepage looks different. But when i use Safari then its the normal look. I'm going to post a screenshot. Has anyone else noticed this? Is there some option to change? Is it only me?
If I quit Safari with a single or multiple pages open, the next time I open Safari all the pages come back, the pages that were open when I quit the application.Even though in preferences I have a homepage selected it doesn't seem to matter.

when safari is opened it does not open with homepage but whatever last open page when safari closed. can set homepage in preferences, but it does not open to that page when starting safari.have tried shutdown and reboot, but still opens to last open page rather than homepage.
I have set my home page in Safari Preferences, but still every time I close Safari and then open it, it reopens on the last window I had used. I want it to open on my home page every time. I'm not referring to new tabs. This happens when I shut down Safari and reopen it. It doesn't matter if I shut down my computer in-between or not. I'm using Safari 5.1.7 and Lion 10.7.4.
Ok, I just got my iMac, and I never really knew much about them before buying it. Of course I used PC's/Windows XP. I'm wondering is if I can run app's such as Safari,etc..... In full screen?? Is the window size limitation the same for all OSX programs? Lets say I was to make Firefox my default browser, am I still limited to the same window size? Is it possible for me to set Goggle as my homepage for when I open Safari? Am I limited to the Apple home page on Safari, would it be same with Firefox? I was quite used to my Windows XP/Firefox/Google setup, I know I'll have to get used to quite a lot of changes, but that's what I'm most concerned about right now.
Now for some reason I cannot change my homepage. I change it in the Safari preferences but as soon as Safari is restarted my homepage goes back to the previous. Now what is interesting is the fact that my homepage which is un-changeable is actually my ISPs website 'DartyBox'.
The only possible reason why I believe my homepage is this, is I do remember a long time ago when I first moved to this apartment sticking in the disk that was issued with the ADSL router, the 'DartyBox'.
For days I've been trying to set up my safari to always open with a specific page, however everytime I clear the history it also wipes my home page. I've tried the preference tab, homepage, etc. but no luck. Am I suppose to check other boxes?
I am running os x7.3 on mac mini with safari 5.1.4.safari will not open to my "home page"..... I set the prefs. but it always opens to the last page I went to.
I am trying to save a homepage. I go into peferences and click on the button. But everytime I go back into safari it comes up with the last tab (or tabs) that were viewed. I am stuck with how to sort this out.Â
P.S When I am shutting down my macbook, everytime the box is checked for reopen windows when logging back in. How can I un check this and save it so I dont have to keep doing it.
Yes, I've read older posts on this problem, updated to the latest version, yet the Homepage feature of Safari (Lion 7.3) simply refuses to function. Worked just fine under 10.6.x. I set my Homepage to 'current page' when it is up, or I copy and paste the address (done both). My New Window display is set to Homepage, and New Tab is set to blank. Yet when Safari is lauched, it defaults to the last page open before shutdown of the previous session, not the Homepage. Command N will open a new window with the Homepage just fine. Why won't it do that when the app opens?
Everytime I start up Safari it will open up all windows that were open during my last session when I had quit the application. It will also not open to the homepage listed in preferences as well when I start Safari.Â

I've just upgraded to snow leopard and found a problem with my Safari browser - I cannot change my homepage to [URL] or any other page, the preferences always revert my homepage to the apple homepage.
When I installed 10.6, I did a "clean install" then copied over my bookmarks and history files from my backup drive. I then ran software update to update everything to the latest versions.
I don't like that Safari starts the last page that I was on everytime I run the application. How can I change this so that my default homepage is opened everytime instead?
My homepage is set to google.co.uk but I am now getting the message 'Welcome to Nginx' instead of the google homepage. Why? I have a late 2007 macbook, running up-to-date Lion, and chrome browser.
