Safari :: Reading List Drops Entries / Replaces With Multiple Entries Of Same Subject
Mar 21, 2012When I opened my reading list this morning and added an entry I got a very weird list - multiple redundant entires that seem to replace the other entries I had. Checked on my reading list on my iPhone - just like it should be.

Mar 21, 2012I needed a phone number last night...when I went into the Address Book, the contact and related page was gone. This is very scary as I have numbers for relatives in a foreign country, and other important information contained in the Address Book. Â
I started a new card, entered the info, saved the data, and closed the Address Book. When I went back it was gone AGAIN!Â

Mar 1, 2012I am having this BIG problem with address book in Lion. There are hundred of thousands of unknown entries in my address book. More than twice I have deleted all of them they come back again. My MacPro is hard to use when it happens, I can hear the sound of the hard drive working and if I open the address book app then it slows down the MacPro. I was thinking about uninstalling the address book app and the reinstalling it but I do not know of to do that or where to use the info in order to do that. I would like to be able to keep my good entries, but what can I do!

Back in Snow Leopard, there was a discussion article that said iCloud broke the ability to edit a distribution list, but that it would likely be fixed in Lion. how to do this in Lion? Mar 21, 2012I see another unsecured wifi network (D Link) on my list. As I have recently replaced an old modem router (D link) with a new fancy one (wireless gateway), I am wondering if this is somehow still attached to my computer. The D link wifi unsecured network has a different IP address than my newly formed secure wifi network's IP address.Also - if I turn my wifi off (regardless of if I am on the dlink or my new secured wifi) I can still watch netflix etc. on my tv from living room which tells me the the wifi is still on. Why is this so?Does my Mac have two IP addresses or is that D link someone elses?

Jun 10, 2012We have had a software problem with my wife's mac. I set her up as a user on my iMac, then we wiped her machine and reconstructed. Here is the problem. On her laptop now, there are no previous recipients in Mail. As it turns out, she really needs these. They are on the iMac. I need to move that list from the iMac to her laptop.
I have looked in Library/application support, but can find no entry for Mail or Address book. I know that there must be a file somewhere with this data.
