I've been looking all over the internet for a way to get my HTC Touch pro to sync with my mac's entourage. My mac isn't registering the phone when i attach it, but it recognizes my old phones mini sd card.
I don't mind buy one of the programs like MissingSync, but i want to make sure its going to work before I purchase it.
I've tried syncmate's trial and it is on my computer, but it tells me to plug the phone in even when it is plugged in already.
When I wake up my MBA (re-open lid). I notice for about 5secs I can't use the touchpad, it's inoperable. But after the 5secs it starts working again. This used to be instant then after the Firmware update it does this.
I have a 1 year old MB and I've noticed recently that the button on the touch pad no longer has a physical click to it. It still works but it feels (perhaps) mushy. Could this be the start of a bigger problem?
I have a 15" 2008 uMBP and it seems like the screen is very hard, sort of like my iPod Touch screen, so I'm guessing fingerprints won't harm it in the least. Do you guys touch it, or allow people to touch it?
I have started using spaces quite a bit recently and I'm not a huge user of expos. I was wondering if there was a way to change the 4 fingered swipe to switch between spaces? So swiping 4 fingers up would go to the space above and similar actions with left, right and down.
Would it be cool to have dual-OS on the Macbook Air with Touch Screen? Apple is withholding any news from their Mac lineup update, I agree with this post about the likelihood of hybrid Macs in the near future. Apple surely wants the iAD readership expand?

So i decided not to sell my free ipod touch, however my mbp won't recognize that i've plugged the ipod touch in. I spoke on the phone with applecare and was able to restore the touch but neither the laptop or itunes will even recognize it's there. However, applecare is closed now and i would really like to be able to use it for work tomorrow.
I know my usb ports work, i've tried 3 different cables, tried restarting the touch , the ipod touch charges but since it's new the startup screen telling me to plug it into the computer, is all i can access on the touch. I just updated itunes and restarted my mbp and still nothing.
Can we run our applications from our iPod touch on our MacBook Pro? I have several games on my iPod I would like to be able to play on my MacBook. I tried looking them up on the app store on the computer, but they don't appear in the options list. Also I tried running straight from iTunes, but that also does not open the application.
Info: MacBook Pro, I am running the new version of Lion.
My MacBook Pro OS X 10.9.4 is getting extremely hot to touch, especially the charger. It becomes hot within about half an hour of turning it on. Within two hours it is too hot and I turn it off. Indoors with AC. I can't remember when I last bought a new battery but my system report says the health condition is ok.
Info: MacBook Pro (Retina, Mid 2012), OS X Mavericks (10.9.4)
if 4 finger touch will be available through a software update? Now that I am spoiled by gestures on the track pad, I want four fingers for things like switching spaces, tap for dashboard, double tap for time machine etc etc...
Wirelessly posted (iPhone : Mozilla/5.0 (iPhone; U; CPU iPhone OS 2_1 like Mac OS X; en-us) AppleWebKit/525.18.1 (KHTML, like Gecko) Version/3.1.1 Mobile/5F136 Safari/525.20)
Maybe I missed it but is this going to be available via software update for the 1st gen MacBook Air?
Which one have Glass Multi-Touch trackpad?High-end Aluminium, Low-end Aluminium, PolycarbonateHigh-end Aluminium, Low-end Aluminium, Polycarbonate have the same function?
How to I disable this damn unibody multitouch trackpad, Or is there a way I can disable certain gestures? It keeps resizing my firefox font sizes, and messing with other stuff, I think there is some pinch gesture that I'm doing when just resting my thumb on the trackpad...
Is it possible that the full fledged apple tablet that some people wanted will simply be the Macbook pro touch? This wouldn't step on the feet of the ipad market because the price would be too high.
I know that some of the older MacBooks (2006-07) have multi-touch trackpad. Are some of those models only one or two finger touch? I am wanting to upgrade to Lion OSX and want to make sure the trackpad will support three and four finger gestures. And which is the oldest macbook model that supports multi-touch and will support all the functions on OSX LION?
Currently I've installed a new Promethean ActivBoard 500 series and have been using it with a regular PC. It works fine, enabling all gesture controls with my fingers. When I install a Mac to this board, I can't seem to use gesture controls to manipulate my screen.I tried also with a OSX Lion Mac Book Pro and got same results.
I was just wondering if somebody knows if a macbook pro trackpad can be upgraded for the new multi-touch? I have a macbook pro 17" 2.33 Mhz. I think the new one is 2.4 up to 2.6mhz Any how, I'm trying to upgrade my macbook pro's track pad for the one that is coming on the new ones. (multi-touch!.
If you order a macbook pro, will you be able to get the new iPod touch or the old one?I tried making an order and it looks like it links to the old one, I just wanted to know if anybody is in the same boat as me.
I searched the forum about this and found nothing. The bottom edge (a few mm) of the trackpad doesn't respond to touches. Is that normal and how it's supposed to be?
