Numbers 09 :: Keyboard Shortcut To Navigate Text Within Cell

Have checked the keyboard shortcuts help, and to move from one word to the next within a cell it suggests using the normal Apple shortcut with - arrow. However, this is actually the shortcut for adding a new column one side or the other. I have tried all combination of ctrl, but can't for the life of me work out how to move between words.

Numbers 09 :: Keyboard Shortcut To Edit Cell Content?
In Numbers, is there a way to edit a cell's content without having to use the mouse? By edit, I mean to enter edit mode without entirely replacing the cell's content (such as to append to existing text).

The only solution I can find is to de-select the "Return key moves to next cell" option for the table. That lets me use the Return key to edit a cell, but I would much prefer a way to do this without losing normal operation of the Return key while editing.

In Excel, I believe the F2 key does the trick.

The Numbers '09, the "Keyboard Shortcuts" help page says that to "Edit content in cell" you "Select cell and click once, twice, or three times." Not exactly a keyboard shortcut...

Numbers 09 :: Navigate To Sheet By Clicking Cell?
I have created a matrix and when I to click on a cell or something, I would like it to open a sheet relating to that cell. And then from that sheet go back to the matrix.

For example I click on the 'red car' cell and the sheet containing the red car's data opens. Then click again to return to the main matrix. The matrix contains 20 cells, and there would be 20 corresponding sheets. Is this possible?

Numbers 09 :: Shortcut To Add 1 To A Cell?
I've got an inventory spreadsheet where I frequently need to add or subtract 1 unit from the cells in the "# of units" column.

Is there a way to create a script / shortcut that would allow me to add or subtract 1 unit to the current value in the cell with a click or keystroke, rather than having to manually change (for example) a 4 to a 5 if I want to add one unit into the inventory?

Numbers 09 :: Keyboard Shortcut For Focusing On Formula Bar From The Sheet Canvas?
In Appleworks you could move around cells in your sheet using the arrow keys. Same for Numbers. Then if you wanted to edit the contents of a cell, instead of picking up you mouse or tablet pen, you could type something like Option-Left Arrow to make the formula bar active (in focus) and place the cursor at the start of the cell contents. Option-Right Arrow (or something similar) put the cursor at the end of the formula.

I cannot find equivalent functionality in Numbers User guide or by searching this discussion (hard to find the correct search token admittedly). Is anybody aware of a way to do this, even if it means creating a short-cut for a Menu Item which probably doesn't exist far as I can see?

If you just type new contents Numbers deletes the existing contents. I want to use Option-[Shift]-Arrow keys to move around the contents of the formula bar enabling me to edit just the part of the contents I wish too without having to carry my pen and reach for the tablet each time I go to a new cell.

Numbers 09 :: Function Formula For IF (Cell A1) = "number" THEN (Cell A2) = "name"
I believe this is a very simple formula but do you think I can find it anywhere? What I am trying to do is select a number corresponding to person's name from a list and have NUMBERS auto-enter their name when their number is entered. For instance, there is a list in the spreadsheet which has names in one column and a corresponding number for each name in the next column;

John Doe 8
Tim Thompson 6
Pat Pool 2
Joe Johnson 4

When the table portion of the spreadsheet is used, I would like to type "6" in one column and automatically have "Tim Thompson" appear in the same row in the next column.
