MacBook Pro :: Built In Camera Not Working
I have a MacBook Pro 2.53, with SL 10.6.2 installed. I bought it back in November and noticed recently that the built in camera no longer functions correctly. Basically when I open Photobooth it either flashes on and off or else it simple doesnt connect at all giving me a message "There is no connected camera"...! Machine has never been dropped or misused in any form. I tried the following....

Reset PRAM
Reset SMC
Repaired permission (from SL Install DVD)
Verified and repaired HD
Tried another account
Re-Installed SnowLeopard

After all that I can guess my options.... Or do any of yee have any words of wisdom for me...???? No bloody Applestores in Republic of Ireland so thats not an option. Cant be without this machine as my business sorta runs from it. To be honest I'd nearly live with the camera not working but for a machine this young it should just work...!

MacBook Pro :: Built-in ISight Camera Stopped Working
I was skyping yesterday and discovered my built-in iSight camera seems to have stopped working. No video was coming through on skype--just black in the place where my picture should have been. The green light was on, indicating the camera was on. I've tested the camera again several times using Photo Booth--sometimes it says there's no camera connected, but most of the time it says the iSight is connected, the green light is on, but there is no image--only black. I'm not at all expert with Macs, but I looked through the system preference settings and couldn't find anything regarding the camera to check or whatever. Also no "iSight" application the finder.

MacBook Pro :: Built-In Isight Camera Not Working - Software That I Can Download
I bought a Mid2010 MacBook Pro 13" and the built in iSight camera work just fine until like a week ago. I went through all of Apples trouble shooting and resetting the SMC seems not to be the trick. Is this just a software issue that I can download or update or is this a possible USB issue with the computer.

Hardware :: MacBook - How To Use An External Camera Not The Built In
On my desktop MacMini I have a Logitech USB webcam. As it is on a cable I wanted to use the Logitech with the MacBook. I plugged it in and it is recognised as an alternative by Skype, but not by Photo Booth or iMovie.

I want to use it with iMovie to make a short video of a maintenance procedure, but I can't find any preference setting that will discover the Logitech cam, let alone allow me to choose it.

MacBook :: Built-in Camera Works On Skype But Not PhotoBooth
I have OSX 10.5.8. In the past, I was able to use PhotoBooth, but now when I open it, all options to take a photo are grayed out. The screen, where, I believe, previously I'd seen whatever was in the built-in camera's lens (generally whatever I put in front of the screen to photograph), I now see all black with a white camera icon crossed out. Skype works fine though. When I try to load iChat, it crashes unexpectedly. For clarification, I'm using the built-in cam and do not have external camera hooked up to it. I don't really care about iChat, which I never use, and am very, very glad that Skype, which I do use, is working.  However, I would very much like to get PhotoBooth working.

Record video from Isight. The QT properties of this video are h.264, 640x480 14.15 FPS (Never saw this before)Converted that file in compressor to Pro Res 422. The next steps are the ones I'm unsure of, which is the sequence settings. In sequence settings I set the frame size to 640x480, Pixel Aspect to NTSC, field Dom to upper.
