Mac Safari :: Disable Auto Complete For Webpage Title In Address Bar?
I just updated to Safari 5. How do I disable searching for the title of the webpages in my cache when I'm typing in an address in the search bar? I get so much spurious results that are not relevant at all to the page I want to visit. I frequently visit two Norwegian news sites - [URL]. Because the [URL] page has a tile of "VG Nett - Forsiden - VG Nett", where I before could tab into the address bar and type ne, and get autocompleted, I now have to type much mor of the address. Also, for instance, if I start to type with an "s" - the first suggestion is youtube - because the title of youtube in Norwegian is "xxx sin YouTube".

Safari :: Deleting An Incorrect Auto-complete/auto-fill Entry
I don't know if this is properly autofill or autocomplete - the two overlap too much anyway so I'm not wasting brain cells trying to come up with a distinction that makes sense to non-engineers. ANYWAY. Here's the point.

I'm on my bank website. My login is xtnjohnson -- just like here. Only I mistyped it once, so in autofill/autocomplete (whichever it is), I get a little drop-down showing two options: xtnjohnson or xtnjohson.

I want to delete only the second option. I recall at sometime finding a very simple way that involved highlighting the offending entry and hitting either control-delete, shift-delete, command-delete, or function-delete, only I can't seem to get any of those combinations to work. And of course I can't find the thread anymore.

The solution did *not* involve dealing with the autofill preferences in *any* way -- I've seen that option and it doesn't help (a) because there's no quick way to find the website where the problem is occurring (my list is long), (b) even when I go through my list, I don't see my bank's url, (c) the place for entering my login appears to be in something like JavaScript, so I'm not sure it'd be tracked in one of those lists, and (d) I don't know that this is properly an "autofill" problem anyway.

Safari :: Uninstall Malware Auto-complete Pro?
I have noticed this little program called auto-complete pro that is now on my computer on Safari.  Anytime I search for something on the internet, the auto-complete bar that is normally there is covered up by a separate one by autocomplete pro. It is a known malware program, that I found in my research, but most people have asked how to get rid of it on Firefox or windows, now Safari. I am running OS X snow leopard, I believe.  I have looked under extensions, there is nothing there.

ITunes :: Way To Change Email Address
iTunes has one of my old email addresses in my profile. How do I update that to be my current e-mail address?

Fo example my email and apple id are [url].. but my profile has email [url]... in it - an old email I no longer have access to.

Also - i've used 3 different email addresses since I bought my first iPhone. Everytime I update apps on it asks me for a password for one of those 3 email addresses (Apple IDs) - a different one everytime - and it's been so long since I closed those old ones i'm having a hard time remembering the passwords - I guess - because half the time it fails. It would be nice if there was some way to say everything on this phone belongs to the current apple ID.

ITunes Mac :: Trying To Change My Email Address?
I have had an iTunes account for a few years associated with my Hotmail account. Around a year ago I took out the Mobile Me service and have gradually used this for all of my e-mails.

The problem I have is when I try and change my iTunes account over from [URL] to [URL]. I get a message which says the following:

You cannot change this account to use an existing mobile me email address. If you would like to use your mobile me account you can cancel and sing in with your mobile me account information.

So what it is telling me is that I have to create a new account which is not a lot of use to me when I have a long history with my account, all my apps are associated with the old address for example. So why would I be able to change (I assume) to pretty much any other service provider but not the Apple service ?

OS X V10.6 Snow Leopard :: Does Address Book Have Auto-capitalization Or Auto-fill Feature
In a previous contact software program I have used for years, the first letter of names, streets, and cities, were automatically capitalized as I typed them in. Unfortunately, that software does not work under Lion and the developer is out of business. Because of that, I am trying to convert to Address Book. I can't find the ability to have that same thing happen in Address Book. Is there something I can turn on in Preferences or some other obscure window? My old contact software also automatically filled in cities, names, or states that I previously entered. Great time saver but doesn't seem to exist in Address Book.

OS X V10.6 Snow Leopard :: Change Order Of Email Addresses In Address Book / Groups / Mail?
Many records in my address book have multiple email addresses. No big deal but I wonder if there is a way to tell Address Book / Mail which address to pick as the default.

For example I send a litttle news email one a week to a group of contacts.  I want to send this email to people's personal -- not business -- email address.  I've created a group in Address Book and type that group name in my Mail to line and the group pops up.  But a few of the records pick the corporate address and I have to go in and change those addresses.

I just tried editing one record ... I deleted both "work" and "home" addresses from a record.  Then reentered them "home" first, "work" second.  But when I closed the edit Address Book listed them in the original order (maybe alpha).
