MacBook Pro :: Pictures Wont Load On Internet?

I have a Macbook Pro 13" 2.56ghz purchased november last year new. It has Mac OS X (10.6.2). Recently pictures have stopped loading on facebook, ebay and other general sites. I have tried Chrome, Safari and Firefox and it happens on all of them. I have reset the browser settings including the cache and cookies and it still happens. Is this an operating system problem?

MacBook Pro :: Websites Do Not Fully Load Pictures
New problem that has been occurring lately has been when I visit certain websites such as facebook not all the photos on the page will load. Other websites such as message boards will display blue question marks. Could I have a virus? I took it into the apple store and they thought it may just be my internet connection but I have tried it on other network connections and it still occurs.

MacBook Pro :: Internet Has Been Slow And Not Loading Pictures
I have been using my 13" MBP since the 7th of August and since the first day the internet has been slow and it won't load pictures half the time! It will load a little blue question mark instead of the picture! I have three other apple computers and a netbook on wireless (not all at the same time, just to check internet speeds) and they all work perfectly so it isn't the router and it isn't 10.5.8 because I have not installed it!

MacBook Pro :: Cannot Load Web Pages Using Wireless Internet
Currently I bought a new MacBook Pro and the wireless internet at home is very slow and some times the web pages do not load and giving an error message. When I connect it by ethernet it works fine. Just the wireless. It shows its connected thru Airport and Network Diagnostics shows everything is green. But The web pages do not load at all. I tried using Firefox as well as safari.

I have a NetGear WGR614v6 router and I think its working fine, as I have 2 PC's at home and they are connected thru wireless and work fine. I also updated the latest version of the firmware for the router. I have connected the MacBook Pro in other wireless networks and they work fine, including the web browsers. I spoke to Apple and they suggested changing the channel on my router, I tried all possible channels but this did not work.

MacBook Pro :: Internet Browsers Won't Load / What To Do?
Internet browsers won't load. I am connected to Linksys Router wirelessly but even with an Ethernet cord in it won't load up the Internet.

If I switch the modem on/off manually it lights up the Internet light and I am fine again until I log off.

I have been on the phone to both the ISP, Network technical support and Apple, still can't seem to resolve.

MacBook Pro :: Does Not Load Facebook Although Internet Works Perfectly For Other Sites
I've tried three different browsers (safari, firefox, chrome). Here is a copy-paste of the ping to facebook.

Ping has started
Ping: cannot resolve [URL]: Unknown host

I've got no network software running in the background (other than dropbox), and I don't think I've set up a custom DNS. Not really sure how to check what it is. This is an on and off thing, sometimes facebook loads, sometimes it doesn't. Using computers connected to the same WiFi, I can freely access Facebook with no issues.

MacBook Pro :: Using Wifi - Connected To Internet But Pages Won't Load?
I tried ringing apple but unbeknownst to me my warranty has expired so wanted to see could I fix it before using money that was intended for my new iPhone. Right, so yesterday I used a friends o2 dongle and I was asked did I want to save internet settings, I said yes - not knowing what I was saving (silly silly).

I had to do work at my old college but was unable to connect to wifi. Went to the IT lads and they fixed it - sort of - I could access the Internet but no sites that required a log in eg gmail facebook.

I am now at home and on my iPod typing this as my Mbp won't connect to the Internet! It was connecting to the wifi provider, have full signal but won't load the pages. I know it can't be the wifi as my iPod works fine.

OS X :: Safari 4 - Pictures Don't Load?
basically im using the Safari 4 Beta, and half the time when im on Facebook or another site where lots of pictures have load quickly (flickr etc) instead of loading, half the pictures just show a blue square with a white question mark inside where they should be, and after refreshing the page about 50 times sometimes they show, sometimes they dont.

Does anyone else have this issue? Its happening with flash based images as well, which leads me to believe its a blanket issue with Safari. I've tried all the ususal stuff even reinstalling OS X. Its quite annoying because i code in AJAX a lot and i'd like to test my work without getting blue squares where photos should be

OS X Leopard :: MacBook Won't Load Any Internet Related Programs
After installing the latest Airport Update, my MacBook says it is logged into whatever Wireless network I log in to. Airport tells me I'm connected. But none of the programs that use internet will load. Firefox and Safari, Adium (for instant messaging), Microsoft Exchange....nothing. Both at home or up at the university I attend.

I read as much as I could to try and find an answer and nothing was working. In the end what I did was backed up any files such as music and videos and pictures that I wanted to keep, and whiped the harddrive and reinstalles Leopard. I updated everything that I could EXCEPT for Airport. Currently, everything on my mac is up to date. I did ever update for Airport as well, except for the latest one.

Internet now works when I'm at the university. Not entirely sure why, but I can't complain.

At home the main computer is my dad's PC. My mom can connect her Dell laptop to the wireless, my dad can connect his Windows Mobile devices to it. My mac SAYS that I'm connected to our wireless, but it's still the same story. No internet based programs will connect. I even tried connecting to other nearby wireless networks (guessed passwords right ha). Same story.

Here's the odd part that we just found out tonight. If we turn off the password for our wireless router, all of a sudden my MacBook can connect to internet. Once we put security back on, I'm back to where I was.

MacBook Aluminum :: Slow Internet Connection - Can't Load Websites
I've had this problem for a while but I can't remember exactly when it started, but it hasn't always been a problem. My aluminum macbook is very slow to load websites, even the ones i visit regularly (about 10 seconds top speed!). My boyfriend has a white mac, but his works fine. I've tried the following but nothing works: different browsers & versions (safari & firefox) resetting router turning airport, computer, everything off then on again. turning off the automatic configuring of IPv6 (as suggested in another post.) all my software is up to date no one else who uses our wifi network has such a slow connection My airport card is AirPort Extreme (0x14E4, 0x8D), firmware version Broadcom BCM43xx 1.0 (5.10.38.27)a lot of the posts I've found are from last year, so two questions. does anyone else have the same problem with the same or similar airport?

MacBook :: It Won't Load Internet On Wireless But Works With Ethernet
My macbook wont load any web pages. It is connected to my wifi network and it says my Internet connection is good under my network settings. All my other devices on the network have no issues (ipad2, 2-iPhone 4's and 2-PS3s). Also when I connect my MacBook to my router with an Ethernet cable it loads any and all web pages instantly. I also tried installing Firefox thinking it may have been an issue with safari. No luck there. The issue was intermittent at first and would require I restart my computer/router and then issue would be corrected. Now the internet wont load any pages at all. I also tried zapping the PRAM, flushing the DNS cache, removing files from the system config folder under Library/Preferences/system configuration and a few other things I can't exactly remember. My MacBook is up to date, my routers firmware is up to date. I even tried tethering my MacBook to my iPhone via wireless Internet and still could not load any websites.

So I had a problem with the connection and while airport connected to my wireless network fine it didn't load the internet or iChat, that is now solved by downloading updates for my router. But there is still a problem, the internet is really slow. Whereas on my old computer and my brother's computer we could download at say, 300kb, all my Macbook Air can manage is around 60kb or 100kb tops. I went on [URL] after googling the subject, and the test came up with these results..

Mac Safari :: Try To Look Up Some Pictures Using Google Image Or Even Facebook And Most Won't Load?
So I just got a new MacBook Pro and I have a few questions dealing with Safari.I've look up and have tried to find my own solutions like emptying the cache, and resetting the entire Safari system but that hasn't really helped. Most of my problems are with pictures. I'll try to look up some pictures using Google Image or even Facebook and most won't load. Instead it takes forever for the ones that do load to show up. If they don't show up this is what appears:/Users/jarrod_vaughn/Desktop/Screen shot 2010-01-31 at 3.56.42 PM.png

I have also tried to upload pictures using the Facebook uploader and Safari never fails to time out or just not upload the picture itself where I'm left with this:/Users/jarrod_vaughn/Desktop/Screen shot 2010-01-31 at 3.59.06 PM.png

Again, I'm not sure if this is a problem with Safari, Facebook, maybe even my computer? Sorry if this has been asked a million times but I couldn't find an answer so hopefully somebody can help me out here. Safari has also displayed the above message when opening up certain web pages not affiliated with Facebook. If anyone could answer my question and help me with this that'd be awesome.P.S - I hope the screen shots show up if you copy and paste them into your browser. I'm still new to this whole having a MacBook thing and wasn't sure how to put them in a URL form.

I just upgrades my iMac to snow leopard. I did not see this problem right away but about a few weeks later. My computer is really, really slow when I surf the internet. But it is not slow consistently. Sometimes pages will load immediately and other times it will tell me I can't open the page due to the server not being found? I really don't know where to start looking for a problem.

Could I have a virus?

Could the Airport just be getting old and starting to fail?

Do I have too much info on the computer already and that is effecting something?

Could it be the Snow Leopard?

Could someone hacked into the modem and is jogging the bandwidth? ( I don't have the wifi locked but live in a pretty rural area)

OS X Leopard :: Intermittent Internet - Pages Slow To Load
I recently purchased my first mac a few weeks ago (15" MBP 2.53ghz intel). I am new to the mac world and do not have much advanced tech knowledge in general. I am having intermittent issues with the internet, specifically, pages in safari are sometimes slow to load. Sometimes they load instantly (< 2 secs) and sometimes takes forever, and I even have to stop and reload at times. this can happen with the same site. If type in an address, it will stay on the former page and show "loading" the new page for some time before pulling up the new page. I have cox as my isp and am connecting thru airport via a netgear rangemax modem.

I have done the following: started using open dns (added the 2 servers in network settings and also added them to the router), changed the IPv6 from auto to off, repaired permissions numerous times, reset safari numerous times. Just ran speedtest again, and current d/l speed is 11.52 mbs and u/l 3.60 mbs. What else can I check, do, etc? or is this just normal? I'll be the first to say that this mac is way faster than my former dell xps laptop, and WAY faster than the old dell desktop I still have. but, it is just strange how sometimes it seems to get stuck.

OS X :: Browsers Won't Load Pages / How To Use Fast Internet
Today, I've been having a lot of problems re: browsers loading pages. Sometimes, it'll load them partially/mostly, but images won't load. Other times, Safari/Chrome/Firefox will redirect me to Google. Still other times, the browser will say it can't reach the server.

I've tried restarting, repair permissions, and emptying the cache, and restarting the browsers many, many times. Usually one/some combination of these things will fix the problem temporarily, but it keeps coming back. Additionally, no matter how many times I repair permissions, problems crop up in System/Library/Java and System/Library/Frameworks/JavaVM.framework .

I've just redownloaded the Java Update 3 for 10.6, and I'm installing it now. I don't know if that'll fix it, but I'll update if it does. I'm running 10.6.5. The only thing I've noticed that changed before this problem started happening was my update to Safari 5.0.3. I have an aluminum iMac.
