MacBook Pro :: One Row Of Keyboard Not Typing

One row of my Macbook keyboard intermittently wont type. The <Shift>zxcvbnm,./ row of the keyboard will stop working without warning. Then will it start working again after a minute or two. I have tried zapping the PRAM, but that doesn't seem to be the cure. This seems to happen once or twice a day.

MacBook Pro :: Keyboard Light Is Switching Off While Typing?
In system settings - Keyboard - It's set to switch off keyboard light when idle for 1 minute. But it switches off the light while I type. I thought it's because of Outlook first, but the same problem is in Finder and other programs. It just switched off the light and sometimes it switches on suddenly, and sometimes I have to press F5 or F6 to switch it back on.

MacBook Pro :: Typing On Keyboard Make Cursor Jump Around?
I just got this new 17" powerbook two months ago. Everything seemed fine until this past weekend when I tried to do some work on it. No matter the program, Word, Quark etc., whenever i go to type in sentences or paragraphs, suddenly the cursor will jump to another area of the paragraph. There seems to be no consistency and I can't figure the cause.

I checked all the preferences and that doesn't seem to change it.

Could I have a faulty keyboard? Has anyone else heard of this and know what to do.

MacBook Pro :: Middle Row Of Keyboard Not Working
I had a spill a couple weeks back that rendered my keyboard too sticky to use. I ordered a new top plate and keyboard, deciding to replace the whole thing rather than try to clean it all out. I've installed the new items, and everything works great, except for the middle row letter keys (A,S,D,F,G,H,J,K,L) and the left "alt/option" key. On the old keyboard these keys all worked fine (even after the spill), so I don't think it's hardware damage. I've tried resetting the PRAM and VRAM, but that didn't help either.

MacBook Pro :: 5TGB Row Not Working On New Keyboard Also
I have a Macbook Pro 15" 2.4 GHz, 3 GB 667, running 10.6.2. Last week my keyboard started acting up, the first thing to go was the "M" key, the key would "work when it wanted to" so to say. This was a little frustrating, but it would come around after typing around the key (on the keys near the M) and I could complete my work. Just one day later the "T" key started to act up at the same time, and shortly after that the entire 5tgb row was working "on and off". I bought a replacement keyboard and carefully installed the keyboard. For 2 days the keyboard worked without a hitch, but now my problem is back, the M key no longer has any issues, however the 5tgb row is starting to work less and less. I want to think this is some sort of connection issue from what I am reading, however it is a "heat" issue as well.

The keyboard will work fine for the first 10 min the computer is on, and then it slowly starts to fade away on me working "on and off" or as it wants to. I have read as much as I could on the internet, however most people I found with problems were due to spilling etc. I have not spilled any liquid on the machine. One thing that I will note is that the motherboard was replaces about 4 months ago by a company that I have had very good luck with, iresq, they had the board replaced because the problem was a known issue with something in the machine, I didn't ask many questions because they got it done for the cost of shipping. Does anyone have any suggestions or has anyone got any idea's for what to test or replace on the machine to get it working correctly? I am at a loss as if it is a connection issue I would believe the mother board would have to be tampered with.

A lot of the times when my keyboard is idle (watching a movie/video), I hear sounds like someone is still typing on the keyboard. It goes on for a few seconds and then stops and then will randomly happen after some time.

MacBook Aluminum :: Missing Keyboard & Mouse Options For Disabling Trackpad While Typing
I had a old Macbook black version and when I bought a new mouse the first thing I did was to disable the trackpad while a mouse is connected and disabled it when typing. I sold this macbook and recently bought a new Macbook aluminium version. Then when I went to the System Preferences to do the exactly same thing for the mouse/trackpad settings I've noticed that in the keyboard & mouse area it simply doesn't have any of these options. I've searched on the new trackpad area but still doesn't have it.

When I go to the finder and type trackpad, I find a tip (Making the trackpad inactive) related to it, explaining me to check the options on the keyboard & mouse area, but as I said above, they simply doesn't exist here. When I try to open the keyboard & mouse preferences directly from the "Making the trackpad inactive" tip it show this error: "The item cannot be opened. It may be disabled or not installed. 2 param error"

Is there something that I can do, besides reinstalling the whole System?

I tried to install the updates for it from here: [URL]

MacBook Pro :: Warm Gloves That Allow Typing?
The Mac Lab at my school has terrible temperature regulation. It's in the basement of an open floor plan building, and during the winter it gets so bad in there that my fingers go numb. Obviously these are not ideal conditions when you are trying to work with a keyboard, a mouse and a wacom for hours on end. I'm wondering, does anybody own or know of a pair of gloves that happen to be thin enough to allow for typing yet still keep your hands warm?

I tried googling for a bit but all I could find were gloves with the fingertips cut off. I think I must have poor circulation in my hands or something because my fingers and toes seem to stay cold most of the winter regardless of how warm my body is. And working on a computer in a cold room just makes it exponentially worse of course.
