MacBook Pro :: Keyboard Command Key Sticking?

Nothing was spilled on my keyboard, but all of a sudden the left side command key seems to have something stuck inside of it, meaning that I need to push it harder in order for it to work. I tried blowing in it but that didn't help, and I don't see anything stuck inside it. How can I fix this little annoyance? Is it possible to take off that key and try cleaning underneath?

MacBook Pro :: Option And Command Key Swapped On Built-in Keyboard?
My option and command keys are swapped on the built in keyboard. They work fine with a external USB keyboard.

I have checked that the keyboard & mouse > modifier keys preference and they aren't remapped in there.

In fact, changing the mapping in there has no affect on the command and option keys.

On my extended keyboard I have just noticed that using the left command key and X combination does not perform a cut, whereas it works fine using the right command key. Also the left command key does work with cmd-v paste, cmd-c copy, cmd-n new etc. I have checked out another (non-extended) keyboard and both left and right cmd keys work identically.

MacBook Pro :: Keys Sticking On New Wireless Keyboard
I just got a brand new wireless keyboard for my laptop. The S and A keys stick now and then and leave a long trail of s's or a's across my screen. Any idea what is going on here? I also seem to loose connection now and then, could that have to do with the line of 'sight' between the laptop and the keyboard? I have the keyboard on a pull out tray, and it seems to happen when the keyboard gets to far under the actual desk. Where is the bluetooth 'antenna' or whatever it is?

OS X Leopard :: New USB Razer Lycosa Keyboard Not Recognizing Command Key?
I just bought a new Razer Lycosa USB keyboard (ANSI German layout), which is great except that it doesn't seem to recognize the Command key press, meaning I can't really use any of the keyboard shortcuts I've grown so used to.. It worked 100% briefly after I bought it, then suddenly stopped.

My attempts to find a solution online were futile. One answer that seemed promising was to delete the keyboard preferences file, but it doesn't seem to exist in my Preferences folder (another problem that other people have had, and one that I couldn't find a solution to).

MacBook :: Escape Key Dinging - Requires Pressing Command Key To Reset?
I am new to my unibody Macbook. I bought it as an open box item at Best Buy. I was desperate for a new computer and I had and still have little cash. Therefore, I am hoping someone has an easy fix for my odd issue. It seemed to be fine for two or three weeks and making my life so much more fun, now it works but is annoying.

Now that I can't return the machine, it is making the "bonk" noise in succession as if I am repeatedly pushing the escape key with no window open. Other times it will not let me click the mouse when this happens and if I press the apple key it seems to be fine, almost as if it resets an works like there is no problem. I can't find any pattern to when this happens it seems completely at random.

There is no odd esoteric software on my computer and I haven't added any weird downloads on it either. I just have been importing music and photos so far. I haven't had it long enough to get it too screwed up.

I did reinstall Leopard trying to clean out anything that may have been causing this. It didn't help. I downloaded a patch from apple to fix an issue early unibody models had with the track pad. This didn't help anything either. I am almost wondering if there is a glitch in my escape key. I don't have apple care, at least I don't think I do, as I didn't pay for any extra warranty.

OS X Leopard :: Command Key For Shortcuts On MacBook Pro
I just got my MacBook pro back from apple when they had to replace my logic board last week. And luckily for me, they were kind enough to reformat my HDD for NO apparent reason. Anywho back when I was rocking Tiger I was able to set my right side "apple/command" key as an expose button, the one that shows all windows, Fn-F9 I believe. Since the reformat I cant for the life of me figure out how I did that so long ago.

Mac Pro :: Keyboard Key (specific Key) Not Working?
i've been having a problem since 2 days ago. i've got a japanese keyboard connected to a mac pro (leopard) and ever since 2 days ago, the "kana" button that toggles between english and japanese has been defective. the other button which toggles from japanese to english works. it's very strange! i've tried resetting PRAM and repairing permissions, to no avail. i must also mention that prior to this happening, i've had instances where i wouldn't touch the keyboard and the "J" would be mysteriously pressed...

i've moved to toronto and i'm wondering it might not be possible for the applestore to give me another keyboard in japanese. they may give me another one in english but i prefer the japanese for convenience.

MacBook Pro :: Somewhat Unresponsive S Key On Keyboard
I've owned my 15 inch Macbook Pro for a little over a month now, and I've noticed that generally the keyboard requires a bit more of a tactile pres than others that I've used, but my S key is especially annoying. I can depress it all the way lightly (<-- notice the lack of second s in depress) and have it not register. I have to press a fair bit harder. I'm sure I'm not the only one here who's had problems with the keyboard. I'm just wondering if there are any obvious fixes before I end up taking it in to a store. I've tried pressing down really hard and moving the key around a bit and canned air, but I don't think anything's under the key, it seems like just a mechanical issue.

Final Cut Pro :: Increasing Workflow With Key Command Selection
I'm currently increasing my work flow with many of the key commands that are available. There is one annoying thing that I hope is available via key commands. Is there a way of selecting all the clips in a track on the timeline, I don't mean CMD A which obviously selects all clips in the timeline I mean for example all tracks in track two, then I am able to cycle through all the markers with Shift left/right without having to use the mouse.

To follow on is there a way to select individual clips on the timeline I know it can't be done using the arrow keys because the take you to the edit points. It's just annoying that some excellent time saving commands that are available require the clip or clips to be selected and that means using the mouse to select rather than sticking on the keys.

Logic Studio / Pro :: Play Stop Key Command Conflicts With Transport
I just upgraded to 9, and thought I'd love the right-click transport options on the Play and Stop buttons. Great idea, Apple! And the buttons do work just fine when I press the transport buttons with the mouse. But no one really works that way, do they? Key commands. And there seems to be a bug with the key commands. I've got the space bar set to "Play or Stop," the default setting. When I right-click the transport and change the Play behavior, it takes effect when I press the spacebar, all good.

But when I right-click the transport and change the Stop behavior, it only takes effect when I press the actual button in the transport, it doesn't change the spacebar behavior. But when I press the Enter key (assigned to "Stop"), that does work. Seems like a bug to me. Am I missing something or should I leave it as feedback for Apple? I can always get the behavior I want using the key command mappings, but I thought it would be cool to leave the spacebar set to "Play or Stop," and be able to use the transport controls to change the behavior quickly on the fly.
