App Store :: The Bard's Tale For IPad Won't Update
Feb 7, 2012I downloaded The Bard's Tale successfully and before I tried playing it an update was announced. I tried to download the update from the App Store but it comes to a dead halt without downloading. There is an empty progress bar on the game's icon and it stays empty, no matter how often I try to download the update. I have the latest OS on my iPad and it is far from full. I have never had this happen before and have a fair number of games and apps already.

Mar 21, 2012I just got done upadting all the software for the mac mini and then I plugged in my ipad so it could get the update 5.1 or whatever it is. However I tunes is saying it will erase all the apps/music/pictures etc that are on there. There isnt anything yet on the mac mini as its still on my backup hard drive. How can I update my ipad without losing everything and having to reload it onto the ipad?Â

I also see that bookmarks do not update on my iPad now either. How do I get back the behavior from the 'good old days' to make safari bookmarks update when I sync my iPad and iPhone through iTunes on the Mac? There must be some settings that have been changed, but I have not been able to search them out in settings.Â

Mar 8, 2012Getting errors when trying to update to 5.1 on iPhone 4s and iPad 1. Iv tried to update through the device and on iTunes and its not working. Both devices are NOT jailbroken. iTunes saying network connection can not be established. And trying through iPad's software update on the device says " Unable to check for update. An error occurred while checking for a software update."Â And I clearly have internet connection.

Mar 11, 2012i don't know what i did in Terminal a few weeks ago and now i'm having problems. I firts noticed this when trying to update my ipad and iphone to ios5.1 itunes kept showing the message "connecting to the iphone software actualisation server" but it stayed this way for hours. I think i touched something in Terminal i didn't had to.Can anyone tell me how to reput iTunes in to its default settings using Terminal?

Nov 1, 2010I'm new to the whole Apple scene, been using (and still am using) Windows up to this point but now that I've saved up some cash I want to make the switch. Running a 4-year old Windows desktop and 1-year old Windows netbook right now, sick and tired of this!
I'm a photographer, so I need a computer that can edit photos and video and not just to browse. I spend 5 days a week at my University and the weekends at home, so there is a little issue with the mobility. I have over 30GB of music by the way. Budget allowing, I can get the [ MC511ZP/A - iMac 27"/2.8 ghz Intel Core i5 /4 GB/1 TB HD/ATI Radeon HD 5750 with 1 TB ] as an iMac, or the [ MC373LL/A - MBP 15" 2.66 Ghz i7/4 GB/ 500 GB HD/ 512 MB GDDR3 Intel HD ] if I were to get a Macbook Pro.
Given the circumstances, would it be more reasonable for me to get the MBP+iPad so that I could have a powerful computer I could easily move between my two houses while at the same time having a super-mobile tablet to use in school and for non-heavy duty computing activities, the MBP+iPod Touch which would be the same concept as the iPad but then I'd have to use the MBP for e-mailing and web browsing and just stick to having mobile music, or the 27" iMac which gives me the most bang for the buck and a really pretty screen while having the iPad as my mobile computer although it would mean I would have to go 2-3 days a week with only my iPad as a computer excepting long vacations when I would just take my iMac back to our family house?

I have uninstalled and reinstalled it 3 times and still no sound. This app is for the iPhone and iPad according to the advert in the app store. The sound works great on the iPad for other apps downloaded.Â

Jun 2, 2014My Softward Update and App Store repeatedly "crash unexpectedly" (along with Dashboard, Finder and a whole host of other applications).Â
I have tried everything but it seems there is no way I can use either of them.Â
As a result, I haven't been able to update anything for months and my OSX is now thoroughly screwed up.Â
Is there any way I can update OSX without using Softward Update or App Store? Is there an update file I can download without having to go through them?Â
I'd prefer not to resort to OSX Restore as I don't want have my Microsoft Office product key.

Apr 20, 2012I am trying to update all of my software through the Software Update but i keep getting an error. I have tried repairing permissions in disk utility, making an alternate admin account, and much more. Nothing seems to work. I wanted to reformat the disk but i have lost my OS X discs so i cant do that, and sadly i never made a restore point. I just bought an ipad and i cant sync anything in itunes because it requires the update. Â Heres my error message when using software update:"The digital signature on the update is missing or invalid. The update may have been tampered with since being signed by Apple.
