MacBook Air :: Charger Light Gone Off - Stops Charging

Had my 13" MBA a couple months. In the last few days I've noticed a problem with the charger. While using my MBA plugged in, all of a sudden the charging light has gone off, the screen has dimmed and the charger while plugged in no longer appears to be charging. I keep connecting and reconnecting it and it won't come on. I tried a different plug socket in the house as well.

MacBook Pro :: Charger Often Stops Charging - Need To Reconnect
My MacBook Pro (the newer silver models 2011) often stops charging, I have to unplug the charging pin and connect it again. It has turned it self off quite a few times on sudden power failure, mostly because it went under power while I assumed it was still charging. After that it also looses time and date settings.

MacBook Pro :: No LED Light On Charger, And It's Not Charging As Well
All the time the charger for my 2011 Macbook Pro has worked perfectly fine, but suddenly today, this morning, it stoppet working.

I tried to unplug it, and plug it back in, but there's no LED light on the charger, and the battery information at the top-right corner of my computer says "Not charging".

When I look closely, I can see a very dim green light, but you can barely see it.

The computer itself registers that the charger is connected, by increasing the brightness a bit, but no charging. I already tried the SMC restore thing

MacBook Pro :: Charger Stops Working - Dim Green LED Light
So yesterday, all of a sudden my charger stops working with my MBP 17" (14 months old, with in built battery). Surprisingly, my spare charger also doesn't work. At this point I notice that there is a faint green led on the charger, much less dim than the normal green led. And when I attempted to use a third charger which is for the new MacBook, it actually works very very slowly but t does charge! In the last 12 or so hours I have gained around 10%. light is still faint green. Never happened to me in 6 years of being on MacBooks. What's happening here? I'm in india so service from apple takes incredibly long.

MacBook Air :: Plugged In Charger But Not Charging Laptop?
I have started have a new issue at my office where I plug in the macbook air to power and the light on the magsafe connector comes on green, but will not charge the laptop, even though it needs to charge. The dock icon will say connected, but not charging. This goes away if I reboot the laptop, but is very frustrating. Its happened twice here in the office, where I plug in an external LCD and a USB mouse, but not at home so I am wondering in this is related.

It seems like a software issue since it goes away with doing a complete reboot of the laptop, but why on earth would it register the magsafe as connected but then refuse to charge? I had it plugged in for half an hour before realizing I was still dropping charge percentage... The first day I overlooked it but now I am concerned something else is happening. Anyone else see this behavior?.............

MacBook Pro :: Battery "Not Charging" When Plugged In - Light On Charger Is Not On
I have a MacBook Pro that was bought no less then 2 months ago and now when i have it plugged into the charger it wont charge.... But it still gets power to the computer.

The Icon in the top says that it is plugged in but in brackets says (Not Charging).

The plug into the computer is not lighting up either green or yellow..... Nothing at all.

So what i can gather from this there is nothing wrong with the Battery though.

Also i have tried looking at the prongs on the charger but they are fine too and same with the receiving end that is clean..

O and also the battery is at a constant 13%.... does not charge up at all

MacBook Air :: Erratic Charging On 1st Generation - No Amber Or Green Light On Magsafe?
I have a 1st gen MBA, the battery cycles are:129. Last week I noticed that the small amber/green light of the magsafe was not working anymore, I first thought that the adaptor was defective but I tried one from a friend and same thing. What's strange is that it sometimes works just fine and even when I have no lights on I am showing that the MBA is connected to external power but not charging. If I move the magsafe a little, eventually the light comes back on and the MBA charges.

MacBook :: Its Not Charging But Charger Looks Normal
Recently I have had a problem where my Macbook Unibody (Late 2009 i think) has stopped charging properly. My laptop has recently been updated to 10.6.8.

Firstly the charger seems normal i have had a few problems with it, replaced one and bought a supsicious looking replacement although i think this isnt the problem. The charger icon shows that it switches bewtween very (and i mean ludicrously, estimates roughly 20hrs for a full charge) slow charging and not charging whatsoever.

MacBook Pro :: 60 W Charger - Gets Hot While Charging
I recently purchased a 2009 MBP 15'' and noticed that my charger is only 60 W. It gets extremely hot when charging, to the point where I'm actually worried about it starting a fire. My wife's MBP (2008 model, unibody) came with an 85 W charger. What gives? Did they make a mistake by packing the wrong charger? What's also interesting, is that my wife's MBP will not even wake from hibernating mode when I plug in my 60 W charger, but will wake up fine when she connects her 85 W charger.

MacBook Pro :: MagSafe Charger Not Charging
My magsafe charger is on the fritz. simply put, it is not charging my macbook pro. When plugged in, no light on the LED is showing. My compouter recognizes that it IS plugged in; however, it says it is not charging. I have changed the duck charger and same result. i have also tried another magsafe charger, and it worked fine. So it IS my magsafe charger. when plugged into the wall, it sometimes shows a very faint green or orange color. but it stopped showing even that! so now i have no color in it at all! i tried resetting my SMC and such, but to no avail.

MacBook Pro :: Charger Plugged In - Status Still (Not Charging)
I accidentally left it on while I was doing some chores. When I came back it was dead (no battery). So I plugged in the charger and it immediately turned bright green when its supposed to be orange first, right? MacBook says (Not Charging) but power source: power adapter, green light is on, on the Magsafe. It's running by the power source because the battery is at 0%. I've had the charger plugged in for less than/about an hour and the 0% still hasn't changed. (Not Charging) is still there too. I bought my Macbook last August 2009, so it's not even a year old.

MacBook :: Battery Stops Charging After Sometime / Possibly Submerged In Water
I was on a long bus ride and woke up in the morning and noticed everything under my seat was wet including about two inches of one end of my black MacBook. It was in one of those ubiquitous neoprene cases and while not submerged in water it was pretty wet. Oh, and I guess I don't know if it was water or not, but it didn't have an obvious color, smell, etc.

Anyway, I took out the battery and left it out for a little over a day hoping it would dry. When I put it back in and opened it up it seemed everything was working well and I worked on it under battery power for a little while. It suddenly shut off with the battery around 23% (it usually dies at 8%, I don't know why) and when I plugged it in and started up again the battery showed it was charging for about 10 or 20 seconds then said "Not Charging" then I got the little battery with an 'X' in it meaning there is no battery connected.

If I take it out and put it back in again it does the same thing (says it's charging for a moment then ends up with the 'X'). The odd things is that the water was on the non-battery end of the computer, it was on the end with the CD drive, which seems to be working. Okay, right, so is there anything that can be done? Is this battery just a nice, black paperweight? Is there reason to believe that something other than the battery has a problem?

If this battery is toast, where is a good place to buy a new battery? Do official Apple resellers sell them? I'm in Argentina right now and I don't think they have real Apple stores.

MacBook Pro :: Unable To Charge Full Battery / Charging Stops At 70%
Then I can reboot work for half an hour until battery is like 50% then it shuts off again... then I can reboot again and work for some more time. I've checked with coconut battery and when the computer stops at 70% I still have like 1700 mAh...I've reset PRAM, power management, etc...

Of course my battery is old, but it should work until 00%... not stop at 70%. Before I spend like 100$ (that is what a macbook pro battery costs here in Mexico) I'm willing to try anything...
