Mac :: Window Size Too Small In Safari After New Update / Maximize It?

Downloaded the new update for Safari. Now when I open a new window it is very small. When I maximize it still is only half size. Old windows opened before update are full sized.

Mac Safari :: How To Maximize Size Of Internet Pages
I have the 24" imac. I've played around for sometime to maximize the size of internet pages to take full advantage of the screen. That is, I read a lot of news online and I'd like a nice big font but not so big that every web site cuts off information from fields. I'm not having a lot of luck with the settings I've tried. I've gone into safari preferences and changed the font to 20 or 22. I hate to keep clicking "larger" on every single page I go to.

When I am scouring the finder for files, I find it difficult not to see a thumb of each file folder and have to fiddle with the choices at the top. Is there a way to have maximum visibility of the contents of finder? Or Is there an application that works better than finder?

Mac Safari :: Is There A Way To Have IMovie NOT Blow Up A Small Video Size .mov
am animating an 8-bit flash video and basically, when all is said and done I want it to be maybe 200X200 dimensions in iMovie. (Its the latest version of iMovie)I export the .mov of the 200X200 video and when I import it into iMovie it just blows up the video to standard 640X480, or whatever they are. So obviously its blurry and distorted. I wanted to have a black screen around the small 200X200 .mov file. The reason being when watching the video it will be like looking at a Gameboy screen. Very small but clear detail.

Mac :: Write An Apple Script Which Launches A Small Safari Window?
I'm attempting to write an applescript which launches a small Safari window and loads the URL of the national Radio station (BBC Radio 1).tell application "Safari"make new documentset URL of document 2 set the properties of window 2 to {bounds:{25, 50, 540, 405}}This works ok, but I'd like to further customise the script by:1. Remove the bookmarks and URL fields;2. Ensure that the resize created by the bounds argument only applies to that window, and now to any other Safari windows.I've had a look at the Safari Dictionary but to be fair I've not had much experience writing Applescript before.

Every once in a while all applications that are open will stutter when I minimize or maximize them. I can't really explain it other then the fact that the animation in not smooth. When I restart the computer everything goes back to normal and is smooth. I notice this happening after I install or update a program. This usually occurs right after I see the color wheel spinning.

Mac Safari :: Won't Find Way To Get Font Size In Java Applet Window
I'm in the process of setting up an iMac for my mother and I can't find a way to get the font size of a Java applet to a decent level for her to be able to see comfortably.

She plays canasta (a card game) on Yahoo games. It start a Java applet and the font it uses is, I must admit, quite small even for me. Is there any way to control / adjust the font size that a Java applet displays.

OS X :: How To Maximize A Window
I've found that clicking on the green '+' button in the upper left hand corner of a window does not appear to have the same effect as on a PC. On the PC, doing so causes that window to go to full screen. On the Mac, it appears to only increase the window to some size larger than the current size, but does not go 'full screen'.

Mac Safari :: 4.1 Update Won't Work / Clicked Open New Window, But Nothing Happened?
Updater came up saying Safari 4.1 update was ready, so I clicked update, restarted the Mac, and then when I launched Safari no window opened, so I clicked open new window, but nothing happened, so I quit Safari, but it gave me a message that I had 2 windows open! There were no windows at all. Then Safari "unexpectedly quit".... I ran through the same things, again... same outcome.... read through some of the threads on here and did what they said (repaired permissions, checked dick, pulled safari preference file out of library and relaunched), nothing worked. I even downloaded the safari file off Apple website and tried to reload it but it didn't work. I've never had an update like this not work, but there is always a first time!

I must have touched a key accidently, since my entire screen in finder ( as well as subsequent pages) increased dramatically. I restored the window size with the zoom keys and the preference screen but the font size on the top bar is too large and this carries through to the home screens of safari, camino etc.
I cannot adjust the screen size of home pages to see most of the info as before. The whole page looks stretched - even though I didn't use that option on preference screen!

OS X :: Finder Won't Display Folder Size In Size Column Or Info Window?
Normally, the Finder window will display a folder's size in the Size column. However, I have one folder which shows as "Zero KB" in the Size column. When I open the General Info window, the Size reads as "Zero KB on disk (Zero bytes) for 0 items."

In order to get the folder size I have to go into the folder, select all folders, then with either the Summary Info or Inspector window, it'll show the folder size ("185.32 GB on disk").

Why is this occurring in only this folder? Is it because it's a large folder?

I'm running Snow Lep 10.6.2. The folder is on an external drive in FAT32 format.
