Mac Safari :: Using Delete Key To Go Back To Previously Viewed Page
I learned that in Safari you can use the Delete key to go Back to a previously viewed page. Is there another alternative, possibly using the caps lock, or some other key on the left side of the keyboard? There has to be a way to do this!

MacBook Pro :: Delete Key Goes Forward Not Back?
I know the factory setting on a macbook pro have the delete key going backward. Somehow my macbook pro has the delete key going forward. I think my daughter hit fn/delete by accident. I want the delete key to go backwards to the left. I tried system preference - keyboard- restore default but that didn't work. And hitting control h everytime I make a typo is taking way too long. How do I get it back so the delete backspaces? Mac Safari :: 4.0.4 Insists On Confirmation To Go Back A Page?
Safari 4.0.4 insists on confirmation before it will do our bidding and back up to the previous page. Earlier Safari versions did not do this, at least not every single time like 404 does. This should be something users can choose in Preferences, but it's not there. Every user is treated like a novice (which is insulting.) Information: iMac, Powerbook, MacBookPro Mac OS X (10.5.8)

IWeb 09 :: Giant Fonts When Page Viewed Online?
I noticed the other day that the fonts on one of my pages have suddenly gone weird on me. The text looks entirely normal on my iWeb pages but, when viewed on line, the some of the bolded words have gotten huge. The text was all in an Arial 13 font, and the initial date for each entry was bolded. The bold words have become, on parts of the page, huge. Un-bolding took them back to regular size; changing the font size to 14 bold makes them 14 bold. So I did this down to where the text appeared as it should. The mid section of the page was apparently unaffected; today I scrolled to the bottom (which I hadn't done before, it seems) only to find that the dates at the bottom were also huge. [URL]. Also, why do webdings no longer work? Instead of left an right arrows I now have 3s and 4s visible on those web pages where I've used webdings. [URL]. I've been slowly replacing the webdings with small jpg arrows, but it's a colossal PITA. My laptop is still running 10.5.8, and I do much of the iWeb work on the laptop. Mac Safari :: Videos Choppy When Viewed Online
I am running OS 10.5 (with all the latest updates) on my PowerMac G5, and I have always had problems viewing video in Safari. Starting around 480p and above, anything I view in Safari has really horrible frame rates and the choppiness makes it unwatchable. However, if I download the same video as a file (generally using the Activity window), it plays very smoothly in Quicktime or VLC. An example is the online show Web Therapy (it's really funny; you should watch it!). When I view it in the browser in high quality [URL], it slows everything down and I can hardly use my computer because it is so slow to respond. However if I download the same high-quality video [URL]. I can open it in VLC and it is perfectly smooth.

Applications :: Won't Delete ITunes Podcasts After Viewed Or Listened
Is there a way to make iTunes delete the podcast file (audio or video) after I have listened or viewed it? I know i can go to settings in podcasts and adjust how many episodes to keep, but if I am unable to listen/view the podcast for a few days, it may exceeed the minimum. I want to keep the unplayed podcasts and delete them from my library once they have been played.

Safari :: Google Search String Changes When Go Back To Previous Page
This has been happening for awhile now. No doubt due to some upgrade. When I search for a string I'll get the list of google hits. And the search string will still be right in the window where I typed it. But sometimes after going to a link, I'll come back to this page and the page will be the same, but the search string is from a previous search. This is an inconvenience as I frequently go back to edit the search. I can't seem to reproduce it at the moment. Info: iMac, Mac OS X (10.6.8)

IWeb 09 :: Difference In Pages When Viewed In Safari Versus IE
I have created a website using iWeb'09, use Mobile Me for hosting, and my domain is registered with GoDaddy. The Website looks fine in Safari. When I view it in IE it is very slow to load, the font size is reduced, formatting and spacing is off. I really like using iWeb but I am frustrated and ready to transfer my site back to Go Daddy. OS X V10.7 Lion :: Back Up With Time Machine To A Previously Used Hard Drive?
I've just replaced an old MacBook Pro with a new one and used Time Machine to get the new MBP set up. All is well and it looks like my new computer is a mirror of the old (tested for a week now). If I turn on Time Machine with the new MBP using the same hardrive as the former, will the files remain and be accessible? Presently, I can only access the old files by going into the hard drive through Finder and even then, most are locked. Info: MacBook Pro, Mac OS X (10.7.3)

I'm using Safari 4.0.5. When I'm on the [URL] i'm unable to refresh a page because in the bottom left corner of the browser window it says "canceled opening this page". Power Mac :: Delete Key Is Not Working?
I have a power Mac g4 which is about 11 years old which is having issues.Replacing the battery was a big solution, but since I did this yesterday, I am getting Kernel screens and monitor blackouts, jumpy cursors and the delete key not working.I have just reinstalled the OS and updated the software, but the delete key still isn't working. The mouse seems normal now, and so far the monitor will come back when it is asleep, instead of going black and staying that way.But the delete key still isn't deleting.

It is empty, with no content at all, but I just can't find out how to delete it. It allows me to delete the whole content (both pages) when I go to: EDIT/DELETE PAGES

ITunes Mac :: Setting Back Key Shortcut Default Function?
I can be in any app, or have no apps running and when I use the keyboard shortcuts Command + = or Command + - then iTunes launches. I'm running Snow Leopard 10.6.4 and I've searched the setting in iTunes and SysPrefs but can't find out why this happens. It's particularly annoying as that's a very common shortcut for me. It zooms an image in Photoshop or increases font sizes in browsers. Information: MacBook Pro 2.2 GHz Intel Core 2 Duo 4 GB RAM Mac OS X (10.6.4)

Mac Safari :: When Print A Web Page Printout And Preview Does Not Match On-screen Web Page Look
When I try to print a web page, the printout (and preview) does not match the on-screen web page look. Does anyone know why that is? For example, the fonts change to Times New Roman, links appear underlined, the format changes, and some images disappear altogether. I am using a Dell laser 1720, but the issue occurred also on an (albeit old) Dell Inspiron laptop. (I believe this was not a problem using a newer Dell desktop, though...) So my question is two-fold: 1. Why is this happening? and 2. Where are the settings to change it?
