Mac Safari :: Safari Is No Longer Responding Because Of A Script On The Webpage?

This is happening on two different machines. When I try to use [URL]I get an error saying "Safari is no longer responding because of a script on the webpage (url)"
If I hit stop it works, but then everytime the page changes or I want to use a drop down menu on the actual page - I see the beach ball and sometimes the script comes up.[URL]

Safari :: No Longer Responding Because Of A Script On The Webpage
Safari is no longer responding because of a script on the webpage.....Do you want to continue running this script or stop?" This comes up on every single webpage I try to load.  If I click STOP, it just keeps popping up, and I can't do anything else.

Mac Safari :: Crashing With Strange Error Message - No Longer Responding
Just did a small Safari upgrade a few days ago. Been having Safari crash occasionally for a year or so, but since the upgrade it's crashing MUCH more often. I got this message, which is similar to the other error-messages, while visiting the "Newsbusters" site; Safari is no longer responding because of a script on the webpage "[URL] | Exposing Liberal Media Bias" [URL:...] Do you want to stop running the script, or let it continue? (There's a STOP or CONTINUE option) The same thing is happening many sites now; -Twice in the last 10 minutes.

Mac Safari :: Safari Darkens Second Screen When Dark Webpage Loads?
This is strange. In Safari 4.0.3, OS X 10.5.8, on my MBP 15", with a second screen running (Samsung 2443BW), if I move the Safari window to the second screen, then open a web page which is dark in color, Safari turns the brightness down a long way on that screen. If I open a light colored page this doesn't happen. If I move the (dark page) Safari window back to the main (MBP) screen, things revert to normal. I don't have the auto brightness turned on.

Is this a known problem? There doesn't appear to be any relevant setting in the prefs pane.

Mac Safari :: When Loading Webpage Suddenly Change Over To Another Irrelevant Webpage
Recently while using Safari 4, select webpages will load almost completely and then suddenly change over to another, irrelevant webpage that is blank. Most of these unwanted page changes start with [URL] I upgraded to Safari 5 and the problem persists. I also bought "Clean My Mac" thinking this could be a bug and that did not resolve the problem. Mac Safari :: Can Safari Zoom Specific Webpage Like Firefox?
I usually use Firefox for the mac, but recently I have been trying to switch over to Safari since it feels much more responsive. But there are two issues driving me back to Firefox and I thought I might ask to see if its the software or ME. I have the newest version of Safari for the mac, 4.0.5.

1) In Firefox I can access my Gmail and zoom the screen so I can read the small print by hitting <command> +. When I leave Gmail, logout and close the browser, I can restart and Gmail is still zoomed to the proper level. When I use Safari, it zooms my Gmail window, but it also keeps the level of zoom for every other site I visit until I reset it. I just want to zoom in to read my email, not when browsing other sites. And if I logout of Gmail or shut down Safari it does not retain the zoom level.

2) I cannot log into my Bing advertising account because Microsoft doesn't support Safari? ***?

Mac Safari :: Safari Cannot Open Pages And Not Responding
I've been having problems with Safari on my Mac. Certain pages don't open in Safari, or take a lot of time to load (already installed click2flash to see if that helps...doesn't). After some time loading, Safari says that it can't open the page because the server doesn't respond. But when I try to open the page on my old PC, it opens perfectly! Sometimes Safari work perfect for hours and then all of a sudden it starts having these loading issues. Tried to empty my cache, but no results after. It always seems to happen to the same pages. It is not a connection issues, because the sites open perfectly on my old PC (sadly though).

Mac Safari :: How To Expand Webpage Or Website
I recently bought my Mac after months of research. I have been a PC user for as long as I can remember. On my old computer when the maximize button is clicked on in Internet explorer, the websites will expand to fill the whole screen. While this can be annoying sometimes, I preferred it because I didn't feel like I needed to lean forward in my chair to look at the websites. However, I've noticed that that isn't the case w/ Safari. I can drag the page out but only one side. It's really frustrating and I don't want to have to click zoom all the time and have to painstakingly read sections of the page, because I can't expand the page.

I'm using Safari 5, and my Safari doesn't always show all the images on a webpage but shows a "blue question mark" instead of an image. sometime when I try to reload the webpage, the image (that was a blue question mark) appears but some other images become the "blue question mark". The "Display images when the page opens" checkbox is checked, the connection has no problem. I've tried on Safari 5 on my PC, and it doesn't have this problem, all the images loaded well. The problem seems like only appears in Safari on Mac.

Mac Safari :: Slowdowns - Determine Slowest Webpage?
Does anyone know of a way to determine, in Safari, the processor time used by each web page after it's loaded, so I can see which open web page is using the most processor time? I usually have so many Safari windows and tabs open (around 150-200), that it's impractical to figure out which one contains some javascript or other junk that's slowing down my Mac, by simply closing web pages at random. Is there some kind of Safari-specific "activity monitor"? I've activated Safari's "Develop" menu, but none of its options seems to offer this, at least in a way that I can figure out--am I missing something there? Safari's 'Window > Activity' menu shows no info on processor usage per page--just the URLs of each of the elements on a page, and their size (disk space? RAM?). Apple's "Activity Monitor" utility doesn't show individual Safari web page processor usage either. I'm using the "ClickToFlash" utility to block Flash content, but that doesn't seem to help speed up Safari an enormous amount.
