Mac Safari :: Safari Cannot Open Pages And Not Responding

I've been having problems with Safari on my Mac. Certain pages don't open in Safari, or take a lot of time to load (already installed click2flash to see if that helps...doesn't). After some time loading, Safari says that it can't open the page because the server doesn't respond. But when I try to open the page on my old PC, it opens perfectly! Sometimes Safari work perfect for hours and then all of a sudden it starts having these loading issues. Tried to empty my cache, but no results after. It always seems to happen to the same pages. It is not a connection issues, because the sites open perfectly on my old PC (sadly though).

Mac Safari :: Open Pages In Tabs Instead Of Windows
I've tried in the Preferences to get a link to open in Tabs but without success. There are only 3 choices and it would seem that two of them should work. The "Always" and the "Automatically" choices would seem to be the obvious choices but I cant get either one to work.
I emptied the Cache and repaired Privileges .

Mac Safari :: Memory Leak / Won't Open Pages
I browse a lot of each working day on any of 3 machines (2 iMacs & a MBP) & get really fed up having to close safari to release up to a gig of real memory despite closing ALL windows. Is this something that will ever get solved or is it just the nature of opening & closing 10's of pages & tabs during a session?

Mac Safari :: 4.1 - Some Pages Open Quickly But At Times Takes Forever
When I downloaded the 4.1 version, I couldn't open it at all. I had to use Firefox to get on here and find some answers. I was finally able to open Safari after deleting all of my Internet Plug-ins. The problem now is that at times it takes forever to open a page, while at times it is pretty fast. Very unpredictable. However, I noticed a funny thing. Whenever a page freezes and doesn't open, as soon as I try to open Firefox, the page on Safari opens. I emptied the cache and history, but I still get the same problem. I don't know what else I could do. It gets really frustrating when it freezes. I tried to put up with it and see if things changed, but I wish it was the way it was before I upgraded: quick all the time.

Safari :: Continuous "Web Pages Not Responding" On It?
So I've been seeing a lot of these little spinning rainbow devils lately, and can't figure out why. I'm running 2011 MBP 15" i7 8GB 500HDD, and Safari 5.1.5.  I'm mostly seeing it when I'm online. In fact it's spinning right now, and it's about the 5th or 6th time it's happened today. When I have few windows open on Safari, and 1 or 2 downloads running, I suddenly see this spinning wheel appear, and it doesn't go away. When I try to open other windows or refresh pages I get a warning saying that "web pages are not responding" and all the pages need to be force reloaded. So that means to continue on the internet I need to reload all my pages, and lose any current downloads.

Now the thing is that this never used to happen, everything was great. It started like a week ago. The only thing thats changed recently, but which shouldn't be making any issue is that I recently installed OSX Lion. I've run Onyx to see if that would solve anything, but it's still the same. I just can't seem to figure out what keeps causing this "web pages not responding" and spinning wheel, and my pages to freeze, and force reload?

Safari :: Using It With Multiple Pages Open?
I have been using Safari for a few years now, and the only problem I have with it is that I have never been able to have more than one page open at a time.  On any PC, I have been using internet explorer and can have, for instance, an internet radio station playing as welll as being able to surf other pages without losing the radio station.  On Safari, as soon as I have the radio station playing, if I then want to look at other pages, the radio station web-page has automatically switched itself off.  I am sure it is just something to do with the settings, but I don't seem able to fathom out what settings I need to change.

Mac Safari :: Links That Open New Windows In Safari Instead Of New Tabs?
Why is it that when clicking on a link in a website sometimes open a new tab in the same window (which is great) an other times it opens a completely new window (annoying)? I have already ticked the box which tells safari to open new links in tabs rather than a new window, but it continues to open new windows...although not always. Firefox seems to handle this feature a lot better.

Mac Safari :: Safari Not Loading Pages And Then Freezing?
I know there are a lot of posts re issues with Safari, but I haven't been able to find my symptoms.

I am running Safari 4.0.3 on an old faithful G4 PowerMac with OS 10.5.8 On a number of occasions (and on certain sites) after a number of pages moving around a site eg selecting pull down options, Safari appears to hang with the continual 'Loading Page' icon revolving. At this stage it is impossible to go to any other page, even if I quit and restart Safari. Indeed, if I launch Firefox at this stage then no web-sites will load either. The only way to resolve is to restart the computer. This sequence of events has also happened to me with Fire fox (3.5.3) although less obvious since I primarily use Safari. I have tried clearing Caches, running Disk Utilities and Disk Warrior but to no avail.

Mac Safari :: Safari Not Loading Pages After Migration?
I migrated from a 15" MBPro Core Duo model to a brand new 15" MBP Core i7 two days ago. After migration I had several software updates that I installed including an Airport utility, Security update and Java script update. Safari now runs horribly. Pages take forever to load or they just freeze and the whole experience is pretty frustrating. I've tested pages along side Chrome / Firefox and Safari is just awful in comparison. Safari WAS incredible on the old system and no other browser was nearly as good. Any ideas what's up? Should I consider a reinstall of Safari? Anything I should try before doing this?

MacBook Pro :: Safari Cannot Open Message - Pages Loading Takes Long
I've had my macbook pro for about a month. Its everything you read about when you make the switch. Great build, screen, keyboard, stable, ease of use. Everything...except internet surfing. It's a big disappointment. I spend a lot of time waiting for pages to load..or getting the safari can't open message. (When I refresh this page I often will get the page to pop right up.)

I loaded a plug in recommended in the site "my first mac"...but no difference. I loaded firefox but get the same results. My 3 year old sempron dell inspiron and my wifes new Dell studio 17 both kick the macbook pro's butt in surfing so i don't believe its my home network. I have gone to the genius bar and they did some minor stuff but I have the same issues still.

I began to have this same problem on my old MacBook within the last year...but I now have a brand spanking new MacBook Air (as in 1 week old) and it's worse than ever.

Extremely often - sometimes 2 out of 3 webpages, it seems - the browzer says it can't find the server or otherwise won't open a page (takes veeeery long to do so. Then eventually gives me a "can't find" screen when I try to click around.). There's nothing wrong w the internet - it works just fine on my husband's computer. Sometimes it helps to switch browzers but mostly not.
