Mac Safari :: Record Streaming Video From Webpage?

[URL]

The above web page has at least 19 different streaming videos that I'm interested in downloading so I can cut it up and show only the good parts with my friends in it.

1. I open up the page,
2. click the dropdown menu on the left to get one of the videos started (just clicking the default video doesn't seem to work, dunno why)
3. click View Source
4. scroll down to what seems like it's an RMTP (?) video stream thing:

Mac :: Safari Shuts Down On Streaming Video?
I go to a site that have streaming video (other than YouTube), Safari and Foxfire will lock up and shut down. It seems to happen when the video being streamed is an AVI or WMV file. I didn't have this problem with earlier versions of Mac OS. It would just go to the page and sit there and I could go back a page, now it locks up and shuts down.

Mac Safari :: Computer Crashes During Streaming Video Play
For the past week or three I've been having some problems with Safari on my Old Macbook Pro, namely that when I'm trying to watch streaming video it'll freeze up. But not always. And it's only the video that freezes, not the sound. That'll play fine, but I'll only get a still image. At first I thought it was Hulu, but it's been happening on quite a number of video sites.

Mac Safari :: MobileMe Versus Mp4 Video Streaming
So here's an odd one... I bought my wife a Flipvideo UltraHD for Christmas. We've played with it and gathered up a few .mp4 videos that we want to post now. The Flipvideo default file format is .mp4, and it plays just fine on all of my my Mac's desktops via Quicktime.app, iTunes, etc... Anyhow, I go and drag it into iPhoto '09 and "share" it via MobileMe. Everything seems fine when uploading it. My family members with Windows IE 7 and 8 can view my posted videos from the MobileMe hosted site just fine. I can also see the videos just fine from the MobileMe gallery when I use Firefox 3.5.x. on my Macs. However, every time I try to access the videos via Safari 4.0.4 I get the error "Quicktime could not open the video. " My Safari Quicktime plugin is the standard 7.6.3 variety and I have both QT7 and QT10 installed on my OS X 10.6.2 systems. I removed and completely nuked QT7 and it's preferences, but that didn't seem to help so I reinstalled if from the SLeo DVD. Also, oddly enough, once I have successfully viewed the .mp4 using Firefox, the video appears to have been cached to my system, as Safari will then load the same video just fine. However, Safari will only load a .mp4 after it has been accessed with Firefox first.

MacBook Air :: Streaming Video In Safari
So, at the moment I'm torn between the Rev B 1.86 SSD MBA and a fully loaded (2.4/4GB/128 SSD) MB to replace my aging MBP. As a student, my usage is light, with the caveat that I watch an awful lot of streaming video in Safari - sites like Channelsurfing, Megavideo and especially ESPN360. Am I likely to run into major fan/heat issues with this kind of usage profile, or have the revisions Apple has made to Rev B made a big enough difference to assuage my worries?

Applications :: Finding A Way To Put Many Streaming Music Players On The Webpage
New here and new to making websites. I am making a site to showcase my music, and iWeb was very simple to use. The problem is the only way I can put music on the site is if i drag the mp3 file to the page. After putting 15-20 songs on the page, it takes a very long time to load the page because of all the files. I would much rather host the songs on another site such as imeem.com and place the music player on the page. it would make the page load very quickly, as well as let the visitors hear the music.

i dont want to shrink the files because the quality is much worse. i need to find a way to put many streaming music players on the page. is there a way to do this? i've looked around the forums and found nothing, and iweb didn't have anything in the help files.

Mac Safari :: Safari Darkens Second Screen When Dark Webpage Loads?
This is strange. In Safari 4.0.3, OS X 10.5.8, on my MBP 15", with a second screen running (Samsung 2443BW), if I move the Safari window to the second screen, then open a web page which is dark in color, Safari turns the brightness down a long way on that screen. If I open a light colored page this doesn't happen. If I move the (dark page) Safari window back to the main (MBP) screen, things revert to normal. I don't have the auto brightness turned on.

Is this a known problem? There doesn't appear to be any relevant setting in the prefs pane.

Mac Safari :: Can Safari Zoom Specific Webpage Like Firefox?
I usually use Firefox for the mac, but recently I have been trying to switch over to Safari since it feels much more responsive. But there are two issues driving me back to Firefox and I thought I might ask to see if its the software or ME. I have the newest version of Safari for the mac, 4.0.5.

1) In Firefox I can access my Gmail and zoom the screen so I can read the small print by hitting <command> +. When I leave Gmail, logout and close the browser, I can restart and Gmail is still zoomed to the proper level. When I use Safari, it zooms my Gmail window, but it also keeps the level of zoom for every other site I visit until I reset it. I just want to zoom in to read my email, not when browsing other sites. And if I logout of Gmail or shut down Safari it does not retain the zoom level.

2) I cannot log into my Bing advertising account because Microsoft doesn't support Safari? ***?

Mac Mini :: Streaming Video - Hooked Up To Living Room Tv
I've got a mid 2010 mini hooked up to my living room tv, AV tuner (via hdmi), and 3 TB Raid that stores all of my music and videos (via Ethernet). I was hoping to find a way to reliably stream video over my wireless connection from the mini to other Macs in the house. Can anyone point me in the right direction on where to start? Simply attempting to run a video file from the mini to another Mac over something like VLC or DVDplayer stalls continually. I think I may have other issues with file sharing. I can see the folders on the Raid attached to the mini from other Macs etc. but not all information is viewable. For example, If I do a get info on any part of the Raid I can't see any info on folder or file sizes. Is this normal or am I missing a setting?

Mac Mini :: Streaming Video Faster / Using External Or Internal Hd?
I just got a new 2010 mini to use for some web development, as well as a media streamer for my tv. I want to be able to stream standard and HD mkv/h.264 video from either the internal HD, external HD, or my server.

Obviously, the internal HD should work well...my question is, would it be faster to stream from an external HD or my server? The server and mini are wired into the network via Gbit ethernet, and the external would be USB (or it could be FW800 if that would make a difference).I'm going to use Plex as the front-end.

Mac Mini :: Best Option For Adding Video Streaming To Existing HDTV Setup?
I am interested in adding streaming video capability to my home theatre setup, which consists of a Pioneer PRO-FHD1 50" (full 1080p) monitor, Rotel RSX1057 receiver driving 5.1 surround, and Samsung BD-P1200 BluRay DVD player that is not internet-capable. Options are: replace the Samsung with an internet-capable BluRay player, add an Apple TV, or go for a Mac Mini altogether. I am leaning towards the Mac Mini as I might as well have a full-fledged computer that does what I want, and a lot more. However in reading some of the posts here I see that some people are having all kinds of screen resolution and signal issues, others seem to have it sorted out.
