Mac Safari :: How To Unblock Website Access

I tried going on a website on my laptop but instead it went to a page saying: "Access to the web page you were trying to visit has been blocked in accordance with company policy. Please contact your system administrator if you believe this is in error." I don't understand why it would do this all of a sudden. I was on the website earlier in the day and it worked fine. Also, I'm the system administrator and I didn't change any of the settings on my computer or block them. I'm really confused and don't know how to unblock them

Can anyone tell me why I would not be able to access a web site that I have been able to go to previously. I use the web site frequently but now Safari tells me it cannot find the server. Mac Safari :: Can't Access Any Google Related Website
Yesterday sometime, I realized my iGoogle Home page wasn't loading. Then I found I couldn't retrieve my gmail from Mail or [URL]. I also can't access yahoo or youtube. I tried getting rid of openDNS to leave my ISP DNS but it didn't work. I went back to openDNS with settings changed and nothing has worked thus far. I have also reset my home network.

The weird thing is that I can get on google from any other computer in my home including my iPhone and Wii. I can also get to google from windows machines on my home network too. I tried going to differnet google's such as .ca and .cl to no avail.

OS X Leopard :: Can't Ssh To Mac Pro - How To Unblock
I have 3 Mac on my home network, two laptops and one brand new Mac Pro. All running latest version of Leopard . I can ssh between the laptops without a problem but I can't ssh from a laptop to Mac Pro. I keep getting error "Operation timed out". I can ssh to localhost or ssh to user-name@host-name on the Mac Pro. I have compared the ssh_config and sshd_config on my laptops and Mac Pro and they are identical. I have checked that Remote Login in System Preferences->Sharing is clicked on all machines but I still get the error every time when I try to ssh to Mac Pro. To me it looks like Mac Pro is blocking outside traffic on port 22 but I don't know where to look to unblock it.

Mac Safari :: How To Expand Webpage Or Website
I recently bought my Mac after months of research. I have been a PC user for as long as I can remember. On my old computer when the maximize button is clicked on in Internet explorer, the websites will expand to fill the whole screen. While this can be annoying sometimes, I preferred it because I didn't feel like I needed to lean forward in my chair to look at the websites. However, I've noticed that that isn't the case w/ Safari. I can drag the page out but only one side. It's really frustrating and I don't want to have to click zoom all the time and have to painstakingly read sections of the page, because I can't expand the page.

Mac Safari :: 5 And Monster.com - Website Is Not Compatible ?
Customer service at Monster.com reported to me today that their website is not compatible with Safari 5.

I had lost the ability to sign in to my Monster.com account and apply for jobs. The Monster website was not accepting my email User ID and my password. So, I went through the whole rigamarole of having Monster send me a new randomly generated password, which I used to create a new password. While Monster.com says that my password was correctly reset, Monster.com will still not let me log in. Even after I enter the correct user name and password, I still get the Sign On message, instead of the Sign Off message.

I went through this procedure several times, including once with a Monster rep on the phone, who eventually told me that their website is not compatible with Safari 5. This behavior is occurring on a PowerMac G4 running Leopard. The odd thing is that Safari 5 running on a MacBook does permit me to sign in to Monster.com! It's hard to know whom to trust.

Does anyone else get a frozen Safari on Apple's website "Search" (next to "Support")? No matter what I type in (and enter), it stops after a bit at (e.g.) "loading 10 of 11" (on status bar). Mac Safari :: Goes To Wrong Website Typed In URL
I have searched all over the internet for some information on the problem I'm having with Safari. It started when I downloaded Safari 5 (I'm running OSX 10.6.4). Sometimes when I type an address into my URL window or click an often used website from my home page "graph" Safari goes to a completely different website. For instance, I was trying to check the weather and clicked on the [URL] page on my "graph" and Safari went to Mapquest. So, I typed in [URL] into the url window and it still went to Mapquest. So, I opened up Firefox and checked the weather. On occasion, Firefox will pull the same trick as Safari after Safari has sent me to a wrong URL - sometimes it won't.

This past weekend, I was trying to go to Twitter and typed [URL] in the URL window and Safari went to some AOL Realty site (that I have never been to) and even after the page loaded, it clearly said [URL] on the URL window. Another time this weekend, again trying to go to Twitter and typing it in the URL window, Safari went to Chrysler's website (again [URL] was what the URL window said after the page got done loading).

What the heck is up with this? Safari was slow to load and getting 404 errors when I first updated it to 5, so I've done all of the cache and cooking clearing, reset Safari, reset permissions, etc.

Again, I use Safari as my default browser, so when this happens I will open Firefox and sometimes it will do the same thing that Safari is doing and sometimes it won't. So, not sure if it's a browser specific problem or an OSX problem. My Macbook Pro is about 6 months old and I don't visit sites that are spam or hack type sites at all.

Mac Safari :: Website Warnings (Try To Download Software)
Once in a while, when clicking on a link for a web page found via Google Search, or clicking a link to a another website from a web page I'm currently viewing, I'm presented with a warning on my display stating something like, "This web page may present problems or try to download software to your computer." I'm not sure if the source of this warning is web-based, ISP-based, or if it comes from my Mac. Generally if I encounter one of these warnings, I choose not to view the potentially problematic website, but the other day, I clicked on the option to go ahead and view the website. Nothing bad seemed to happen.

As far as I can tell, no software was downloaded because I surf with a non-admin account which requires authentication with an admin password prior to downloading software. As soon as I got off that web page, I reset Safari including cache and cookies. Unaccustomed to dealing with the usual spyware and malware that plagues the Wintel universe, I tend not to be too concerned with these types of problems, but I'm wondering, is there any potential downside to having viewed this potentially problematic website? Are there any files I should delete from my library or preference folders just to be on the safe side?
