Mac Bluetooth :: Transfer Files From Phone To Macbook?

i have an LG enV mobile phone, and i have successfully paired it up with my macbook. my computer is showing up on my phone's bluetooth menu, and my phone is showing up on my macbook. all the share settings are ON and it seems to be connected, but when i click the bluetooth icon in the taskbar and select "browse device..." the drop-down menu closes, and no new window pops up. i tried clicking other buttons like "send file..." and again, nothing. only "preferences" and "add new device" seem to work, they open up new windows with more options. what's supposed to happen after you click "browse device"?

Mac Bluetooth :: Cannot Transfer Photos From Mobile Phone Onto Imac Via Bluetooth
I am trying to transfer some photos from a sharp gx25 onto my imac running leopard via bluetooth.

I am able to pair the devices but they won't stay connected, and I keep getting the error message "device does not have the necessary services." All setting seem to be correct in system preferences, etc. ("Bluetooth sharing" box is checked in sharing, and I have set up bluetooth device, has been marked as "discoverable," etc.) I have searched the forums for advice but can't seem to find any helpful information. Photos have previously been imported from this phone by a friend onto their macbook so I know it has worked before. Have also tried bitpim which won't seem to work either.

Mac Bluetooth :: Cannot Transfer Anything From Phone Via Bluetooth
For a long time now the bluetooth on my mac has worked fine but I got a new phone and transferred some music and pictures to it but now I can't transfer anything from my phone to my mac. However I can still transfer to my phone from my mac. To get stuff from my phone to my mac I have to bluetooth it first to another phone then to my mac. I don't understand why I can't send files from my phone to my mac but can the other way around.

Mac Bluetooth :: LG Phone - Cannot Transfer File
I just bought a LG phone that has a micro SD chip. I found my computer, paired it and everything. The computer and the phone both recognize each other. However I cannot transfer a file. Everyone keeps saying to use the Bluetooth Exchange program but that doesnt work either, when I try to transfer a mp3 it says "The target device says it will not accept a file of the type you are trying to send" So did I just waste money? or is there a way I can send my music to my phone, please help cause this card came with no instructions. Also I thought that maybe I could put the SD chip into my camera and transfer it that way ( b/c my mac has no card slots. But when I tried that iPhoto automatically opened and wouldn't do anything either. My camera didnt show up on my desktop either.

Mac Bluetooth :: Cannot Send Files From MacBook To Phone
Every time I try to send a file to my phone it asks me to accept the transfer on my phone, which I do, and then as soon as it goes to start loading it displays the error message "Could not transfer - internal error" or something like that. What in the world does that mean, and how do I fix it? I tried reducing the file size, but that wouldn't work either.

Until the recent large update (149 mgb) to iTunes I was able to pair my LG phone to my wife's iMac and transfer mp3 files either way using Bluetooth. Now when I pair the phone and go to Browse Device on the iMac it lists all of my phone memory files but will only open the the SDPicture file. When I click on the SDMusic file it says operation failed. Is this just Apple protecting their rice bowl with regard to music sales or is it a glitch in the software?

Mac Bluetooth :: Connect Samsung Glyde Phone To MacBook?
I just purchased a Samsung Glyde cell phone through Verizon Wireless. I've been trying to connect it via Bluetooth with my MacBook and send files for ringtones I've created in GarageBand. The phone won't accept the file transfer, it only gives me an option to "Send Name Card." I have no idea what that is. The phone can connect for Serial Port and Object Push.

Does anyone know if there is a block or something on music files on the phone? Any suggestions on what to do?

Mac Bluetooth :: Sending Vcards To Verizon Phone?
So, I have a Nokia 6205 (yes, dark night edition). Anyway, whenever I send it a vcard(via bluetooth), regardless of how many entries are in there, it gives me the following error: »Add at least one number or e-mail address«

I've tried it with the 2.1 and 3.0 vcard format, however nothing works.

I also tried creating a contact, and sending it via bluetooth to my computer (Air running Leopard) and my phone tells me »Connection Failed« and I get absolutely nothing on the air.

Any ideas ? It has verizon os, not the regular nokia stuff, so there's no Nokia PC Suite ...
