Logic Studio / WaveBurner :: Possible To Burn Multiple CDs From Existing Bounce?
There has to be a setting I'm missing...Every time I want to burn a CD, it re-bounces the tracks, then begins a burn. I want it to burn without a bounce first. I'm sure it's something stupid that I've missed, but is there a preference I can change?

Logic Studio / WaveBurner :: Burn CD Copy When Waveburner Needs Master CD For The File
I'm using Logic 8 Waveburner. I've got a master CD - which is one long Audio file of a live set performance. I'm using Waveburner to break it up into separate songs or tracks. No Problem - but Waveburner seems to "need" the original master CD to access or display the CD as separate tracks. I've created a wb3 file from it but that seems to be data. I've created a DDP image file but I can't access it after I created it. I just want to burn a new Master CD of the separate tracks I created using Waveburner and the original Master CD. But I have only one (1) Rom drive on my Mac tower. How do I do this? I'm looking up the manual in the meantime. Information: HP Pavilion PC Windows XP Pro

Logic Studio / WaveBurner :: Can't Make Loud CDs / Fix It?
Ive been trying to master my album and im finding it difficult. I want to make it loud but waveburner will prevent me from making it over 0dB. Logic Studio / WaveBurner :: CD Text Does Not Burn
I am using WaveBurner 1.6.1 and can not write CD-Text. Yes, I've checked the Preferences->Burn settings (Write CD-Text Data is on). I have entered all the track data (Titles) and also filled in the fields for CD-Text. The "Burn" dialog box tells me "CD TEXT: Supported". Nevertheless: The finished CD does not include any CD-Text. There isn't an option in Waveburner 1.5 to burn at slower speeds than 8x. Is there a possibility to burn at 4x? How do I in that case do that? Just installed Logic 9 and Waveburner wont open any of the links created in L8, I get the message "The document “title” could not be opened. WaveBurner cannot open files of this type". OK I thought let's create a new Waveburner file, I did this, burned a CD, closed the file, and now I can;t open that either. Is this another Snow Leopard thing perhaps?

Logic Studio / Pro :: Add Track Markers And Names Before I Bounce - Burn To CD?
I'm fairly new to Logic Pro. Recorded a live gig recently (on Tascam 2488) Exported all tracks to Logic Pro, tidied it all up and now have two files, Set 1 and Set 2 ready for bounce and burn (will be two separate CD's) My question, how do I insert markers that the CD player will recognise? I split and named the tracks in Logic, but when I bounced and burnt the CD, it is just one track. Information: iMac 24" Mac OS X (10.6.5) Mackie Onyx desk, Mackie Universal controller

Logic Studio / WaveBurner :: Fade In / Out By Channel
I am looking for a simple (or any) way to fade the left or right channel of a region separately from the other channel. For example region A, left channel fades out before the right channel and then region B, left channel fades in first. I expect that this exists as there the stereo channels show up each with its own fade, I just haven't figured out how to split them. Information: IMac Mac OS X (10.6)

Logic Studio / WaveBurner :: Very Large File Created When Replacing Track?
When I replace a track in a WaveBurner file, the size of the WaveBurner file will increase from about 2MB to 450+MB. The only way I've figured out to get the file size down is to create a new WaveBurner file and reimport all of the tracks and then reinstating all of the plug-ins. (I've expedited this process by creating saved plug-in chains for each song in the file. Then I just need to load the plug-in chain for each song.) But I also need to change all the track names too in a couple of places which is kind of a pain in the rear. Information: iMac 24, Core 2 Duo 2.8 GHz Mac OS X (10.6.3)

Logic Studio / WaveBurner :: Update Info About Sample Rate Conversion
I've been using Waveburner since it was an OS 9 application but this was new to me. I was mastering a CD for a friend of mine when I noticed that 5 of the eleven tracks I had been given were 48k files after I had already given out a first run off the master just for them to listen to. I was finishing up mastering it for real when I looked at the inspector and I noticed for the first time that the first track was at 48 along with four others. 5 tracks at 48 six tracks at 44.1 My first reaction is that I'm need to call and get some 44,1 files or convert them myself in Logic. But I start thinking, why did it work the first time I made a CD? So I bounced the project as is and made what should be close to the final just to see what would happen. It worked. I have an EQ on each track with a Limiter on the mix that I adjust gain with in the Mix Lane. I didn't think a 48k audio file would even play in waveburner let alone be sample rate converted during the bounce. I don't hear any bad sounding artifacts at all with the converted tracks. My paranoid self makes me think I should replace them with 44.1 files before I do the bounce and I may at this point, but I'm not sure I will be able to tell any difference. The final sounds great. I was looking for update information mentioning sample rate conversion but I can't seem to find any. I guess I missed the memo. Information: Mac Pro Mac OS X (10.6.5)

Logic Studio / Pro :: Bounce Video Clip From 8?
as a composer for film and tv, i use logic 8 for my work. If i'm composing music for a 20 minute short film, does anybody know if it's possible to bounce, say a 5 MINUTE section of that film out of logic 8 with the music i've composed for it? Most composers tend to work on just one section of a film, then like to send say a short section of it to the director with his/her musical ideas before he continues with the next section. At the moment it seems to me that if i want to do this, i have to bounce the entire movie out of logic 8, then go into quicktime and just cut the particular section i've composed music for, then email it to the director. It's such a nuisance! In layman's terms, i'm asking if i can set markers and bounce a small section of the video track the same way i can an audio track? Information: IMAC Mac OS X (10.6.2) logic 8

Logic Studio / Pro :: Bounce Track To Get It At Highest Quality On CD?
Whats the best way to bounce a track to get it at its highest quality and on a CD? have Waveburner but no idea what to do with it, so normally just stick to bouncing straight from Logic Pro. Is Waveburner essential? Also, if i want to upload a track to myspace, would it be best to Rip an MP3 from the high quality CD file or do a separate MP3 bounce from Logic? Like, would you lose any sound quality by bouncing as WAV to CD, then ripping an MP3 from that? Information: Mac OS X (10.5.8)
