Apr 14, 2012After installing the latest updates for Java to both 10.7.3 and 10.6.8 the MRTAgent or other files ( /System/Library/LaunchAgents/com.apple.mrt.uiagent.plist and /System/Library/LaunchDaemons/com.apple.mrt.plist did not seem to install. I have installed both through Software Update and also through the stand alone downloads. Various sites have said the above should have installed and there is no evidence on my machine.

The MacBook did log in for me at home but, there was a delay with a brief webpage saying something about so many seconds to redirect. (Could not read it all.) Aug 20, 2014Every time I go to open my safari browser a little grey box appears saying I am getting unauthorized access on my browsers. I believe this problem has occurred from streaming a movie.
The box also says this network may be infected. I then click okay and a red screen appears with a white box with writing in it saying to call a phone number immediately and that my mac has found two malicious viruses but I have read online that this isn't a virus just something attached to online streaming.
I don't know if I should download a program to get rid of this or to do something else. I tried to reset safari but it didn't work.

Jun 4, 2012I was doing google searches yesterday, and I clicked on a link, and a site opens a whole bunch of pop up windows, you know how it is..so I quit Safari altogheter. After that I kept doing google searches, and I noticed that when I clicked on link a specific site of an association that is legit, it redirected me to one of those shady pharmacy website. So that was weird.I reset safari,came here, then I got the anti flashback tool, my mac seemed cleared. I got clamxav. I checked www.dns-ok.us. It all seems fine.I don't install things on this machine, I had a new hardrive installed not long ago.Do I have the latest Java, do I need to update? this is the Java version i have -build 1.6.0_31-b04-415-10M3635

Mail also seems to be involved, because it opens unexpectedly, and tries to contact the internet without reason, as I've learned through 'Little Snitch'. My two anti-virus programs, Avast! and Norton don't seem to be able to detect this problem.
