IMac Intel :: No Applications Are Working - "The Application Spotlight Quit Unexpectedly"
I just bought a new Mac, and put in the "Mac OS X Install Disc 1". I saw that the download would take 2 hours, and decided to eject so I could put it back in later. This led to a pop-up saying "The application Spotlight quit unexpectedly." There are three options, Ignore, Report..., and Relaunch, all three of which lead to the pop-up popping up again, every three seconds.

OS X Leopard :: The Application Mail - Or AddressBookSync Or Safari - Unexpectedly Quit
When I log on I get a window that says the AddressBookSyc unexpectedly quit it gives me the option to relaunch, but will never relaunch, when entering Mail I get the same window and it too will not relaunch despite attempts to do so, I have sent the "error" to apple. Now when I use Safari for a short period of time it too will come on with the same unexpectedly quit window. Just before this started happening I downloaded an ILife update, I don't know if there is any connection or not.

OS X Leopard :: Application Skype Quit Unexpectedly On IMac
The subject line pretty much covers it. I haven't used Skype much and not for a few months now and it used to work fine. Just wanted to revive it the other day so I tried to open - I see the login window momentarily but it goes straight to the error message. I tried the relaunch option - always the same result. I tried re-downloading Skype - no change. I uninstalled Skype and tried re-downloading - no change.

Note: some instructions at Skype [URL] indicate a file location at "username/Library/Skype" but this location does not exist on my Mac - and it wasn't there before all my re-installation activities. If anyone wants to see the error message code I can send it. I sent it to Apple but none of us really know where those messages go do we?

OS X :: IMac G4 Crashing A Lot / This Application Unexpectedly Quit
I just bought an iMac G4. This machine has been great, until a few hours ago. I was surfing Camino, when I went to go to IE for Mac (to check my Gmail, because Camino crashes when I go to Gmail) and then the same website I typed in on IE [URL] showed up in Camino. Of course, Camino crashed. Then, Camino started itself back up again, automatically surfed to [URL], and crashed again. Then Camino started up again...(and so on)

So I chose to force shut down the computer via the power button (which was probably a bad choice). When I got back on, I tried starting Camino. It crashed almost as soon as I clicked on it. I tried again...same thing. I soon came to realize that everything to do with the internet (Camino, Safari, IE, AIM) crashes the same way (almost as soon as you click on it). You ask how it crashed? Just the normal "This application unexpectedly quit" type.

OS X :: Application Spotlight Quit Unexpectedly?
PowerMac G5 OS 10.5 Leopard - I am getting this error message. If I start up from Install Disk and try to Reinstall the OS, it throws an error message stating "Cannot verify Disk." If I start up from Install Disk, it goes directly to OS Installation without utility options. If I DO NOT Start up from Install Disk, little is recognized, including Main Menu Bar at top. If I insert Install Disk, it does not recognize a disk was inserted to work off. This all happened when: I chose to do a clean restore on the HD to sell the PowerMac. During the process, I had to stop it and I followed directions. Quit Install and select disk to restart from. I chose my HD and proceeded.

OS X Leopard :: Application Syncserver Quit Unexpectedly
Having recently downloaded latest updates to my Macbook, I have a problem with the machine slowing to an extreme crawl. Then after what appears to be a random interval, I get a pop-up message "The application Syncserver quit unexpectedly", together with the usual invitation to ignore, notify Apple or cancel. After this the computer appears to run more or less normally. The updates were to Quicktime, iTunes (ver 9.0) a security update to OS X and a Java update. Prior to the updates, the machine ran normally. I notice also that after them, I lost about 7.0Gb of hard drive space. Should I wipe the drive and do a fresh install of the operating system followed by a restore from Time Machine (I use Time Machine regularly but have never needed to restore) or should I just use the restore facility to wind back to pre the software update? And what is this syncserver application?

OS X :: The Application Pub Sub Agent Quit Unexpectedly?
Since downloading 10.5.1, I have had the message below pop up about every half hour. Almost every time, I click "Report...." to send to failure to Apple. I have also tried clicking "Relaunch," but that done nothing to fix the problem. Half an hour later, the popup comes back again. It has happened now more times than I can count. I have tried to research what this application is, but to no avail. Does anyone have any idea what I can do to fix this or to at least get rid of the pop up?

IMac Intel :: Flash Player (Safari Internet Plugin) Quit Unexpectedly
First off, I have an imac, Mac OS X version 10.6.1
processor: 2 GHz Intel Core 2 Duo
Memory: 2 GB 667 MHz DDR2 SDRAM

It has been flawless for 2.5 years. Recently video has started playing slow. The computer seems to be running the same as always, but whenever I try to watch a video (youtube, vimeo, hulu), the video crashes after a couple minutes and says: Flash Player (Safari internet plug-in) quit unexpectedly. I also edit video, and final cut, premiere and imovie have all started running a little bit slower, and whenever I try to capture video it drops frames and fails within 3 seconds. I can capture the audio fine, just not video. So its not my camera or tape, its not my FCP settings and its not my chords. I assume this capture problem is related to the videos crashing in safari since both the problems started at the same time and are the only 2 problems I have had with this computer in 3 years.

Its not due to the space on my computer, I got a new external hard drive and moved over 100 gigs to my external hard drive, so my imac should be running even faster than it has in 2 years. Is there anything i can do? I tried to clear my computer with a program but it was only a demo, and I could only clear a 300mb of stuff. It says there is 20 gigs of something saved in safari, so is there something i can clear from my computer that gets saved in safari? I have cleared my cache and reset safari and that wasn't it. Anything else to check? I really need to capture some video and start editing again.

OS X :: Finder/Mail And Safari Unexpectedly Quit?
I am having intermittent problems with MacBook Pro Intel Core 2 Duo 2.2GHz with 6GB RAM (yes, six GB) and a Seagate 500MB/7200RPM Snow Leopard OS 10.6.2

Mail will quit when I try to add an attachment

If I go to the Finder from another application, the Finder quits and windows disappear. If I select "new finder window" finder repeatedly quits. After 10 or fifteen times (usually I just restart) I can get the finder window to stay open.

Using Safari and selecting a file to upload causes Safari to quit. Firefox works fine.

I have done a clean install. Problems persist intermittently.

Any advice on how I can fix this?
