May 8, 2006is there anyway to make an iWeb page auto start playing an audio file as soon as the page is loaded? Maybe im just really missing something obvious, but whenever I publish the site, it never auto plays, i have to click play.

I know I can use imgburn through parallels, but I have no Windows OS disc for parallels to work. Jan 7, 2006I don't know how to make a folder password protected, I know how in OS 9, but, I haven't had the need forever and now I do, I'm runnign Mac OS X Tiger 10.4.3. What I need to have protected is a folder that holds a backup of my website.

This is rather annoying as I would use said file to store the IP to name translations of some local computers. Before editing I would always become root and use nano to edit the file.how do I make the changes to the hosts file permanent?

Oct 2, 2010i have a problem with i tunes, i'm trying to make a ring tone for my iphone from an existing file in my library. to do that i need to press "create an acc version" from the "advanced" tab amongst other procedures but the problem is that the aforementioned option is grey, meaning it can not be pressed, i have a similar problem where a simple thing as copy/paste can't be done on the computer because that to is grey and their fore i just cant press it.

Oct 1, 2010I have a config file, /etc/my.cnf that has permissions set via the finder gui to have read/write for anyone that's an "admin". My user is an admin (turns out I'm the only user as well), but when I open this file (it's plain text) in text edit it gives me an error on save saying that I don't have permissions for the folder that it's in. I can, however, use nano via the terminal and modify the file without any issues. I don't want to set read/write permissions on /etc to everyone, so how do I make it so TextEdit (and thus other programs having the same problem) can write to that file?

Applications :: Unable To Open Keynote Presentation File - File Corrupted?
Oct 18, 2010Today I tried opening my keynotes presentation file to make amendments to it and when I double clicked on it, the program loading bar only loaded up a third of the way and then hanged. I then tried to save it to a flash drive and use it on a different computer, but when I tried to copy it over to the flash drive it gave me this error: "the finder cannot complete the operation because some data in "garment styles" could not be read or written error code - 36".
I have tried changing the file extension to a zip, then unzipping it and then renaming it but that did not work.(It wouldn't let me unzip it). I have also looked at the index file name to see if that was the problem, but that is as it should be.
I have also tried uploading it to a website and emailing it and it will not let me.
Is there anyway I can recover this file as I have been working on it for over a month and it is due next week, or will I need to start again?
